I agree with the 50/50. I ended up there thinking i had a PG sensitivity. And it did help. I try not to stray too far from it. The highest I buy is probably 65/35. But I have to really love the juice maker. And just a tip for Mt Baker juices, plan to let them sit and steep in a nice dark place for a while after you get them.

Are you using a tank or a carto? When my daughter and I were using cigalikes with cartos, we were fine with Mt. Baker Vapor's flavors with no flavor shots. Once we moved up to Evods and Protank Mini 2s, we found the flavors somewhat muted, and now get one flavor shot.

Agree you should start with 50/50 pg/vg and see how you like it.

It is personal. The only way is for you to try different things. Get this order 50/50 and the next time try 20/80 and see which you like better. Or keep it 50/50 and get an extra flavor shot. Just change 1 thigh at a time. If you change 2 there will be no way to tell which you like or if they canceled each other out.

Vaping is a journey, not a destination.

Another option to see what you like would be to get it at 50/50 and order some PG and VG from a DIY shop and start adding (in small batches) a little VG or PG to the juice to see where you land. Obviously those flavor shots will be handy, and your nic level will drop some. Lower nic level isn't a bad thing when you're experimenting and thus vaping a lot.

I usually default to 70pg/30vg. If its a creamier custardy, sweet type juice then I may raise the VG to 50% and do a 50/50 mix for texture but I won't go higher than 50% on VG. You can still get LOTS of clouds even just using 100% PG juice, so I wouldn't opt for higher VG for cloud factor. Just watch some of Igetcha69 youtube videos. He uses 100% PG and is blowing massive clouds.

Also, in my experience, the thickness of VG itself causes atomizers to gunk up a lot faster.

go with 50/50.

depending on how that goes, next time,
if you want more fogginess get more vg,
if you want more throat hit or flavor, get more pg

In the end it will come down to your personal preference and how you plan to use the juice. I prefer 50pg/50vg for tanks and 20pg/80vg for dripping. I find the I don't need extra flavoring added for tanks but a extra shot seems to help my dripping juice. I also like my dripping juice nic level to be 25% what I'd use in a tank. I've found what works best for me and now it's your turn so have fun experimenting. :)

MBV juices have came in quite strong, at least to me they are.

They also have an option for 70% vg and 30% water. Just keep that in mind if in your quest to find what suits you it becomes clear that you don't care for pg yet find vg a bit heavy and thick. I personally like that combination. The additional water also helps with the drying out of your mouth and throat a bit.

Nobody else can advise you on what the 'best' ratio is, cause it's different for everybody; it's entirely personal preference. The only way to know what ratio you like best, is by going through your own trial and error.

When i first started, i ordered 5 ml bottles of the same flavor from the same company in several different mixes - 20/80, 60/40, and 50/50, and when available also tried it in 100 VG. That way i could have a 'controlled experiment' - with all things being equal except the pg/vg ratio. I did this with several different companies, til i tried many variations of the same flavor in different ratios, and it took about a month to figure out which i liked best. After that i was able to start buying big bottles instead of the 5 ml 'tasting' sizes.
