Yeah, fluval is a brand, but I couldn't imagine the adverse affects from letting that go dry!

I don't recall getting any dry hits with it, but I tended to take it apart and play with it all the time. It was my first kit and I was really excited.

I agree with the suggestions for the Reo. I got my Grand at the end of May, and since then I have gotten 2 more. I use them with the Reomizer 2 RBA. Before I got my Reo's I was using Provari's and carto tanks (thanks Bad). I got an Igo L for trying DIY juice, and I loved the flavour from dripping but hated the impasse of carrying a bottle. Since I got my Grand I haven't used my other mods at all.

From what I have read, and I may be wrong, is that the Vmod needs to be tilted to feed the liquid (not a big deal in my opinion), with a Reo it does not have to be tilted to feed the juice. Also, I don't think that the Vmod works well with RBA's because it needs the cone to he hold everything together. Being able to use RBA's was important for me, but I'm sure that for a lot of people it isn't a deal breaker (if I am wrong please correct me).

I really like the look of the bogger box, but I am quite clumsy and I know that I would scratch the wood up and be really ticked at myself so I didn't go that way. The Reo is a tank, I have dropped a few (okay more than a few times) and I have a couple of tiny almost invisible scratches and I have broke 4or 5 drip tips. If you are interested in bottom feeders I really think it is worth looking at.

Tell us about atty's for the Reo?

As a proud member of the Curmudgeon Club, I've actually saved a lot of money after my switch to vaping. I keep it simple and avoid shiny things. However, I am willing to blow the dust off the wallet for something like this.

As a curmudgeon in training (my father perfected it...I am simply following in his footsteps) I can assure you it is worth a lung full of wallet dust.

As for atty's...any bottom feeding dripping atomizer will work (Empire Mods carries them and I'm sure there are others). I recommend a 1.5 ohm atty as the Reo is a true mechanical (although Reosmods sells a VV version as well for slightly more).

If you're into rebuildable atomizers, Reosmods sells a bottom feeding rebuildable dripping atomizer customized specifically for the Reo (not an original piece but a modified generic doo dad) called the Reomizer 2.0 (RM2) for $43. The A7 will also work with the Reo but there have been reports of the center pin shorting out on the A7 if it isn't screwed onto the Reo properly (I have had no issues with mine).

The Cyclone is another option but it's a bit more expensive ($65) and, in my opinion, doesn't work as well as the RM2. The Cyclone is a fine atomizer but the RM2 holds more liquid and has a ceramic base which helps keep heat focused on the coil and is a bit easier to work with (however, the Cyclone with air flow control is a different story).

I use the RM2 with a 1.5 ohm micro-coil and it is easily the most satisfying vape I have yet to experience. The coil lasts forever and I just need to pull in a new cotton wick every few days.

There's a list of all the compatible rebuiildable atomizers over in the Reosmods forum. Here's a link.

OK !! I cant stand it anymore. I JUST ordered a VMOD. If I can drip with that kind of convenience....this is gonna be great !! By the way, the coupon code worked...thanks for including it. Bad, You are a BAD influence on me. Because of you, I got a Provari, IBTanks, AW's and now this.................. But I am Vaping in a much better place than I ever was before I started reading your posts.......

I just ordered one too. I still plan on getting a REO one of these days. But, a VMOD at 50% off it was just too hard for me to pass on.

So much for the plan to curb my hardware spending this month. I blame Baditude!

I still use it every once and awhile - and I gave some to a friend just getting into vaping. That set-up is freaking easy to use and cheap.

Yep that is one of the first "mod's" that people were doing with the 510 atties. I don't usually fill mine all the way. I drip a couple drops on the atty and maybe 6 on the blue foam stuff. You never get any junk in your mouth that way.

Reomizer 2 aka RM2. Dead simple to coil, whether you do it the "old-fashioned" way with silica as shown in the video at that link, or use the recently "new" micro coil with cotton setup (the recent trend to micro coils got started on a REO). Squeeze the bottle with a 2 count, that wets the wick and the excess drains back into the bottle. Push the button and vape. Every second or third vape, hit the bottle again... all day long--one-handed dripping with 6 ml of juice. Just doesn't get any better!

The Reomizer 2 is simply the best.

The reason is this.

The way the Reomizer 2 works is that liquid is squonked directly through a hole in the bottom.

First it's pushed in when you squeeze and saturates the wick, than when you let go of the bottle all the excess is sucked out. You get a saturated wick without flooding.
Ingenuously, the bottom of the Reomizer 2 is plated with porcelain. This means that you can have your wicking flush with the bottom and not risk shorting out your atomizer. It really is brilliant how the Reomizer 2 works. I don't like the REO Grand but I have 3 Reomizersv2 and am in the process of selling my ERA and Cyclone. The Reomizer v2 works great with any bottom feeder that has a cup wide enough to fit, works perfectly on my Bogger Box.

The others Cyclone, ERA, A7 Etc the hole for the liquid is through the post, so liquid is squonked in but it's not sucked back down. Thus you have to be careful not to flood it and you are depending on a wicking action.

Your Vmod looks great with the wood grain. But as far as I know Vmods can't fit any rebuildables right? Rebuildables are all I use. Thats why I like the Reo so much. If the Vmod does take some rebuildables I'd probably be more open to thinking about owning one oneday.

I've not tried it but apparently the A7 can be modified slightly to work with a VMOD.

I love my VMOD, it's just so awesome.
