This was intentional for me. I was determined to quit...... again. This time I was gonna try this new electronic cigarette thingy I heard advertised on the radio. Luckily I read some scary reviews of Smokers Savior and Smoke Assist before I called them. I did, however manage to order a crappy unit before I found the forum.
What really has surprised me though was how effortless it was. The transition to vaping was seamless. One day I was a smoker and the next I was a vaper. That was it.

When I started with this in January, I had no idea how it was going to fit in with my 40-or-so year 1+ ppd cigarette habit. Cut down, quit, or throw it in a drawer? As it turns out, there hasn't yet been a day that I haven't smoked a cigarette. Then again, there have been very few days that I've exceeded six. Five is the average. I'm planning on a zero cigarettes (and vape my brains out) day soon to see if I can lower my present smoking plateau. When I do that, I won't necessarily promise myself or anyone that I'm through with smoking, as I do love it. Health-wise, I know I'm helping myself with the twenty or so a day I haven't been treating myself to over these months. But zero would be nice for bragging rights at the doctor's office.

510 (from Cignot) here too, and I'm avidly working to stave off mod fever (which isn't easy...)

Paul, Paul, Paul. Give in to the fever. Give in entirely. Go right to a high volt mod with a high resistance atty and when that glorious cloud hits the back of your throat and comes billowing, seemingly endlessly out of your mouth and nose the satisfaction you feel will make those last 5 analogs a day seem completely irrelevant.

I never wanted to quit. Though many times I wish I hadn't started. I wanted to continue smoking, I just didn't want it to be bad for me. I remember my wife told me several years ago that we should "think about quitting." I remember those words and how the blood in my veins turned to ice when I thought about the idea. I tried Chantix at her insistance. I lasted about 6 days without a cigarette before falling off the wagon and pulling her with me.

I've had my Blu for over a week now and just started refilling with some menthol e-juice. If I had the money to pick up a few extra attys, batteries and stock up on liquid, I think I could quit altogether. as it stands now, I've cut my analog consumption in half.

Going off topic for a minute. Be glad you did not last on the Chantix. I had a really bad experience with it after being on it for three weeks. I had friends who had a different kind of bad experience, and have heard of deaths from it more recently. I know not everyone has had bad experiences on it, but I worry about the safety of this one.
