I dream a cigarette

So I've been smoke free for about 9 days now and last night had a crazy dream about smoking cigarettes again. The little I remember was I was at a friends house and was vaping while he was smoking, and after being over there awhile I told him "Give me a cigarette". He gave me one and I remember being very guilty and thinking I shouldn't do this... and I felt that way all the way until I lit it up and took that first drag but I couldn't stop myself and I smoked the whole thing.

I thought it was a kind of weird dream that I would share, and pretty much shows that I'm not completely over cigarettes yet because I guess I still subconsciously crave/think about them. So I was just curious if any of you have had dreams like this? About smoking, vaping or both?

I try not to dream about these things, too much else to dream about! Its probably on your mind a lot, and probab;ly not unusual. If you are overwhelmed with the craving, go try an analog and get it out of your system, that will help you decide what the best course for you is.

I've had dreams like this before.
It's your body's/brain's way of "getting rid of toxins" or preparing your MIND for life without cigs. Its kind of strange, but these dreams can accompany any kind of withdrawals/detoxing. Its perfectly natural. They're fairly vivid, aren't they? lol

If you feel the need for a ciggy, have just one a day at a set time, for example 7pm every night.
After a week or two, that urge for a ciggy will disappear, rather than building up resulting in a fallback to ciggies.

I've had a rare cigarette since I essentially quit about 10 months ago, and was always horribly disappointed. They'll never be the same to me as they were, but my body won't let me forget them anyway; it wants to go home. There's just no home to go back to.

It's been 14 months for me.. there is no way I would have a ciggy nowadays. Just the thought of one makes me feel sick.

When I first started vaping and wanted a cig, I would have one. By the 3rd day I found that the cig stunk to high heaven. I still have cig cravings and light up a cig but they are quite infrequent (maybe once a month). Cannot take more than one puff because it is too stinky. So I put it out and save it till my next craving.

in the first month i had a dream that i flicked a cig into an ashtray. in the dream i literally thought to myself "wtf! i don't smoke!"

i didn't dream about the actual smoking part.

I've dreamt of smoking. When I wake up, I just have to think and remind myself that it would taste aweful. That's been my way of staying quit, though - any time I think I want one (which is more and more rare), I just remind myself that Vanilla Custard is WAYYYY better!

I had dreams about smoking when I first started vaping. When I'd wake up, I'd grab my PV and vape a really good 24mg juice. I just think it's part of detox because I had dreams when I was in rehab about doing the drugs. It really sucked.

I dreamt of getting back with my first wife last night. The one who tried to take all my money. I hadn't dreamt of her in years. It was a very warm dillusional reunion
