For years and years I tried this that and the other thing to quit smoking and nothing worked. The gum, the patches, inhalers, nothing worked for me at all. I heard about ecigs from a few people and kind of brushed them off as if they were just nic inhalers, until I started researching more on the ECF that is.
The help and sense of community here has been overwhelmingly excellent! I've been vaping now and analog free for about a month (not long) and I went out and bought starter kits for my whole family or are now vaping happily too. Most of the kits I got were "meh" like Blu, and NJoy. But after reading up on Kristin's FAQ and DonDaBoomVape's Wonderful World of vaping (sorry, I can't post links yet) and all the polls on the ECF, I decided to go for the Joye 510...I want those powerful TH's
That's supposed to come this week and I can't wait!
Thank you Kristin and DonDaBoomVape, btw for your excellent pieces, they were a major help for myself and many other vape noobs. Also, thank you for the many others for your information and inspiration on moving to the world of all things vape and finally being able to free myself from the analog shackles.
That's exactly how I feel, like vaping is the key for all smokers to drop the shackles, continue the basic habit that we like only without killing ourselves, being outcasts, paying ridiculous taxes, and so on. I've since made it my mission to tell every smoker I know about vaping, as many of us haven't even heard of it yet. Since smoking my last analog, I haven't even had a second thought in over a month, and that's the first time in a decade that I was able to walk away from them.
My mom's been smoking for over 40 yrs and has COPD. I've read others here on the forum who are in the same boat and have nothing but excellent news with vaping since they quit. She's really excited about it too, and feels free of her shackles. So I'm hoping the best for her and the rest of my family, and all smokers everywhere.
Rambling over. Happy vaping!
