I usually refill my 5 ml carto tank in the morning and it lasts me all day. I used to smoke about a pack to a pack and a half a day. I've never seen mils of juice equated to cigs. I have noticed that the vivi novas use juice a lot faster than cartos though. So ya may want to try out some cartomizers or cart tanks too.

not a noob question at all really most people don't really know and for good reason there is alot to calculate and some imposable to estimate most people just use it when they feel they need to:)~

i think the general consensus is 3.5 ml of 18mg nic is about = to a pack of full flavored smokes,
but to get a more personal idea for your vaping usage its going to depend on a few things like what strength juice you are using and what smokes you were using to compare it to,also will depend on how you vape it(just in mouth or full inhale) and the condition of your lungs from years of smoking, after they clear up from quitting(if you did)your lungs will absorb more nic,tho i believe the mouth absorbs most the nic i eliquid i was reading somewhere.

Seems like the info I've seen suggests a relationship between the amount of nicotine in x ml of juice at y mg strength correlates to a pack of "full flavor" cigs. Those may be accurate.

But how much juice is needed to equal 20 cigs? Not sure that can be calculated. We all have different vape habits and techniques.

I'd just fill it up, have your juice handy, and see what your experience is with your setup and methods. If it lasts all day, and you used to smoke a pack a day, then, for you, 2 ml is about a pack. Or if it only lasts half a day (or a day and a half, or...)

When I started, I was always concerned about running out of juice, running out of battery... so I never left the house with about 6 filled cartos, a couple full stardusts, and at least three batteries. Once I got used to how much I indulge, that's trimmed down quite a bit (although carrying spare everything is STRONGLY advised. Accidents and unexpexpected delays do happen, and we usually can't just pop in to 7-11 for more!)

If you try to compare your juice usage to your cigarette consumption, you'll find yourself confused and/or frustrated.

You should know that when vaping, your habits and understanding of how everything works must change.

You simply can't accurately say "I smoked X cigarettes a day so I should vape X mL of juice a day."

That said, this may be of more help: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...e-carto-n-o-t-equivalent-pack-cigarettes.html

As said above, it's not really as simple as 'x amount of juice = x amount of cigarettes'. Part of the reason for this is that your vaping habits will stabilise over time to be nothing like your smoking habits - I used to NEED a cig as soon as I got up, now I find myself not even vaping for an hour or more in the morning, as an example :)
