please help burnt taste, cotton like taste with cartotank and clearomizer

I'm a newbie and have a variable voltage vision spinner. I have mini vivi nova tanks 2.4 ohms and also ib glass tanks and stainless steel boge 510 2.0 pre punched 2 hole cartomizers. When I use the tank with cartomizers, I have primed them but I get a burnt taste and also a cotton like taste with no flavor. Tried a new cartomizer but same thing. I tried switching using the mini vivi nova and still get burnt taste. Also switched the head on the mini vivi nova but same thing. I've tried a few different juices from different companies and tried changing the voltage but still have the same problem. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I've tried e liquids from evo and ec blends. Could the juice be causing the problem or am I missing something. Please help, no matter what i do i cannot get rid of the burnt cotton taste and am not getting any flavor from any of the liquids. This is making me go back to regular cigarettes and I really would like to make the e-cig work to help me quit. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

I don't know about the nova tank, I never had much luck with the one I had, but the carto might need more priming. Did you try the thingy that comes with the IBtanked tank to help with the priming?

I have not had good luck with Boge cartos recently. I find that the only way to avoid a burnt taste is to over prime... when you think you've primed it, prime it more, then let it sit for at least 30 min. Before you use it make sure to blow the liquid out of the air hole in the bottom and make sure you can see light through the center of the carto. I have no experience with the Vivi's but maybe you need to turn the voltage all the way down and see if it tastes burnt, then you can start turning the voltage up.

When I first fill cartos & carto tanks I leave them for a least 20 minutes before vaping on them. If carto wadding is dry and gets burnt the burnt taste never goes away

Burning juice comes from using too much power, wicking issues / improperly primed carto's.

When you say you primed the carto's were they properly/fully primed, they hold 20 ~ 30 drops of liquid (depending on carto size ) to fully prime.
Did you give them a few primer puffs (without pressing the power button) after installing them in the tank (did ya see any air bubbles come out of the holes) before pressing the button and trying to vape.

With the nova's did you fill and allow enough time to pass for the wicks to become fully saturated and give it a few primer puff's before pressing the fire button.
Are you using high vg% juices.

After a carto or head is burned there isn't any way to get rid of the burnt taste except to replace the carto/head.
Did you change the carto/heads and vape the same juice the burned ones were sitting in. Most times the burned carto /head taints the juice with a burned taste.

when I was using the novas I learned that you need to spin it after you fill it and sometimes while you vape. also how much do you vape a day? I usually vape 2 tanks a day & found that I burned my 1.8ohm coils up in a few days but that's because they burn hotter. I've recently switched to a Kangertech T3S which the wick is on the bottom. you don't have to prime them and I've yet to have a dry hit on it.

I Did Fill With 20 Drops To Prime But Didn.T Do Any Primer Puffs And Only Waited 5 Minutes Before Trying It. Oops Lol I Did Fill The Tank With New Liquid though And Tried Different Pg/Vg Juices Mostly With 50% Or More Pg And The Spinner Is The Only Battery Ihave. I'll Try Again And Wait Longer ANd Do Primer Puffs. Will This Also Help With The Cottony Taste?
