What really really helped totally take away the analog craving for me was when I vaped with the screwdriver.

That was a start.

Now I vape with the GG and Prodigy and ciggies are only a distant memory for me. Don't want one - don't need one.

I celebrated 4 months of vaping recently and now I know vaping is a keeper.

Mamu...what mg. of juice do you vape in the Prodigy? I know Cash and Spikey told me that I could get a throat hit with 0 nic on the Prodigy.

Of course, with the cravings I am getting trying to CUT DOWN to 0 nic...that might be a mute point. I might have to stay with nic- just get more power!

The Prodigy might help me to be able to cut down to a decent level though, without the unit hanging out of my mouth all of the time. Like I said before...right now I am constantly chain vaping when I am at home.

DeeAnn, The point is that you vape (and your friends) in the plant. We all feel it's safe but who really knows? It's his plant, he makes the rules.
Your boss views it as kicking sand in the face of other smokers, and I agree. It also freaks out non smokers..again I agree. That's not to say other smokers couldn't join you or that non smokers couldn't learn more about it, but it's their choice. He probably got complaints about it. Your friend didn't help matters.
It is a recreational habit. It belongs in a space for that habit..not with smokers, but perhaps in it's own area at lunch and on breaks. The other 8 hours belong to work.
Just because we were told we can "vape everywhere", doesn't make it so.
I am sorry he said yes and then caved, that's hard on you..but no reason to quit vaping. You do that for you. Work can't take that away.
Hang in there, maybe things will get better. Until then, vent a bit here.
Oh, head over to the DIY area, you will find ways to vape more cheaply.

When I started vaping I was on 18 mg, now with 6 volts I am doing 12 mg, sometimes 8 mg. I'm on cruise control now and loving it.

Yes, it's true - you can get good throat hit on 0 nic with these 6 volt PVs. I tried it and it's good with the throat hit.

But I'm in no hurry right now - I'll eventually get to 0 nic.

Thanks MaryKay...I hang out in the DIY area a lot. I already have a lot of supplies, and have tried my hand at it a little...just haven't found a good nic level yet to stop the cravings.

I started out on 18mg. and still had the cravings. I have recently moved up to 24mg.- that is what I am vaping now, but still get cravings. It also might be that I have to have throat hit to feel like I am smoking an analog, and my 510 is inconsistent in that regard.

I think that is why I am currently failing as well with my DIY, I am not getting TH...no matter what I try ( lemon juice, vinegar, vodka, menthol drops, mild tabasco sauce, etc). I have read on the board, that about the only thing to give you a good throat hit is nicotine content and/or using a mod (Prodigy, Screwdriver, Adaptever, etc).

I might have to go the mod route, and use higher strength nic juice for now, and modify as needed to "maintain an even strain".

Dee - you will not need the higher nic when vaping with higher volts.

Throat hit is the most important to me and it's absolutely awesome at higher volts!! Totally makes me feel satisfied.

Sorry Mamu...I meant use the higher nic right now for the cravings, until I can GET a Prodigy...then start with say, 12 to 18mg nic juice- then adjust from there. If I can stay at 8 to 11 mg., then I can make my own DIY and keep the cost down a bit.
