Well, the rest of my day yesterday passed without incident but I smoked a total of 6 cigs and already this morning fighting the urge to have another as well.

I now know without a doubt that my 12mg juice is too low for me, so I placed an order last night for a few juices all at 18mg. I should be getting them both about Friday (placed my first ever order for Boba's Bounty and really looking forward to trying it out!), so until then it looks like I am going to have to keep rotating between vaping and smoking...

Boooooooo! :nah:

Try the gorilla juice. It's like vaping warm yummy nutty wheaty bananas that were plucked by angels and laid to ripen on a sun-dappled cloud full of win.

So, if you have some of the 24 left and you have some 12... if the flavors are vaguely complimentary, you could make a Vapenstien's monster of a juice at a 1:1 ratio and have 18mg/ml. just a thought.
Hang in there, hon.

Yeah, I came close to ordering the GJ as well (which I probably will at a later time), but since I have lost my job I have to be selective for awhile. I am looking for a good tobacco tasting juice and so far everyone I have tried I have not cared for (Churchill from Liberty Flights wasn't bad), so after reading numerous reviews on BB and many YouTube reviews, I am hopeful this will be what I am looking for. As far as mixing goes, unfortunately my 24mg and 12mg isn't even in the same ballpark sadly enough. I diluted some 24mg with Glycerin, but I HATE the way a juice taste afterwards, so that was a no go. I am still so new to vaping that I have made my share of mistakes and that is how I have ended up in my current pickle.

Do you need an emergency ship? I'm sure we could fix you up if so...

Oops, see you purchased..it probably wouldn't get to you any faster..

That is so awesome of you to offer, thank you! But yeah, my order should be here Friday. Thanks again! :)

NOT.

A.

FAILURE.

Dust off your .... and drive on, sir. I don't think there's a person here who hasn't at least thought about having a cigarette. Hell, I thought about it the other day and I almost did it, too! My fiance still indulges every once in a while. He still hasn't completely quit, but I don't bug him about it. Talk about temptation!

Wow, ONLY 6 analogs so far??? That's fantastically low for such a stressful week! How many analogs do you think you would have gone through before you found out about vaping? :) 6 analogs is a drop in the bucket of life. Don't beat yourself up. You're doing great and this is only temporary. Even if you need to smoke more until your new juice gets here, you're doing fine.

We've all been there. You have not failed in the least! Seems like a lot of us hit a wall about a month or so after quitting cigs. Mine lasted about a week but didn't have quite the level of the added stress you are going through. Nothing satisfied or seemed to curb the cravings. Not like a nic withdrawl though, this was purely psychological. I smoked one or two during that week and moved on. 6 cigs? Shoot! That ain't no hill for a stepper brother! Life will improve. Believe!

It's 8 total now and thank's for your words of encouragement! I was a steady pack-a-day smoker for close to 21 years, so if it wasn't for me rotating between smoking and vaping in the last 24 hours, I would already be well into my second pack. :( I feel better than I did this time yesterday, but I am still disappointed that I am back to my old habit even if it is just temporary. In just the few that I have smoked I feel like I have already ruined the progress I had made with my health in just the last month (my physical health not my mental). I feel sluggish, I'm back to clearing my throat often, and my sense of taste and smell I had gotten back has left me again. I know this week is just a set back and I'll benefit once again as soon as I can toss my analog's back out the window.

I have learned some lessons this week I won't soon forget... :)

Here's something to think about: Are you looking to quit vaping (or at least reducing your nicotine down to 0) as well? If not, then you haven't really failed at all, you just stepped down to lesser gear to get your nic fix when there was no better alternative. Granted, a cigarette is a lesser method of getting your nicotine by orders of magnitude, but it's still just degrees of the same addiction. If you're unconcerned about the nicotine habit itself, this wasn't failure, it was problem-solving. Don't feel bad.

If you are in fact trying to quit all of it and vaping is just a step towards that goal, then sure. It's a stumble. That's ok too, you don't learn anything from an easy journey.

Very good response with nice sound logic, thank you. Yes, my ultimate goal is to be 'everything free' and that includes vaping. Even though it goes against my very nature (once I set my mind to something, I try an compile a 'timeline' on how long it will take. I guess I get it from years of working under due dates heh), I understand an addiction has no timeline. If I have to vape for years to come before I can finally walk away from it and it keeps me away from smoking, so be it. Before I found vaping, I honestly believed I couldn't quit. Now at least, I know I can. :)
