I was smoking roll-ups and buying most of my tobacco duty-free twice a year.

So far I have not smoked 952 cigarettes and saved about £102, probably less, at full price. I probably saved more like £50, but I spent nearly $200 on my first cig-a-like.

There is no way I am going to break even, ever.

I finally broke even with the cost of vape supplies and devices vs. my previous cigarette consumption. Sept 17 was my last analog ciggy. So Now im in the green - until I buy a Provari or something... lol:vapor:

congrats! so how much did u spend in home much time for that?

I would have broke even a long time ago if it wasn't for the fact that I used to buy indians smoke!

I put all my purchases in to Excel and totaled them. These included my egos and replacements, cartos, tanks, etc.. also my juices plus DIY supplies. It's about 575 bucks. So about 100 packs of ciggys. I was a 3/4 - 1 pack a day smoker. I will have to add a few days for my Kraken and M16 clones. But by next weekend that's it for sure. Honestly, I am sooo glad i am not making those 7-11 runs for a friggin pack of cigs anymore!

BR, you are not counting how much better you feel....priceless

Oh yeah I feel so much better now then I did a few months ago when I started this. My son has helped me out a lot he gave me his old Vamo 2 battery last week. I love it! He told me "Mom I am proud of you. That is why I am giving you this" I wanted to cry! Congratulations on catching up! I am close but not quite there yet. If all these vape shops would stop coming out with new flavors I would be good. LOL

I don't care how much I spend. I make good money so it's easy. I couldn't imagine making $300.00 a week like most people I know do. I wouldn't be able to vape. I've got a few genuine joytech ego c, and ccs' laying around. A provari as my main mod. A couple RBAs and RDAs and I just ordered an innokin MVP v2 just minutes ago. I need more. Just sayin. Nothing lasts forever. One day the provari will fall into a lake or hot lava and I'll be glad I have backups and backups for the backups. Bout to get into DIY juice and stockpile kanthal and mesh. Oh yea I even have my ol blue e cig stuff and Chinese egos put away. I hope it doesn't come to that though, lol

I have also prepared a Word document and I am tallying every penny spent. Watch my Banner also to see how I am doing but it will be awhile yet before breaking even since I have been stockpiling, backup unit, accessories, etc.. Vaping has been keeping me busy.

I have a co-worker that is awesome at encouragement. When I lament how much I am in he replies " Who Cares - it is the quality of your Life that will improve. Money is immaterial when it comes to this ".

About one a month I find myself next to my wife on the couch looking online at vape stuff and we always seem to talk each other into buying something lol. It usually costs us 60 bucks each time. We used to smoke 2-3 cartons a month together. Thank goodness she knows me so well. She lets me spend just enough to feel like we are being naughty but we never go over budget.

This post was found in an ancient ruin, possibly left by aliens.
