Hey all! I would have posted in New Jersey Vapers club but there is no activity down there. So a place called Vapors opened up in Brick N.J. I took a ride down with a buddy/fellow vaper friend. I have to say.....it was REALLY fun. The place was busy as hell. It was filled with beginner vapers mostly, all trying to learn about this new industry. My friend said it best....it was refreshing and encouraging. With all of the nonsense we read about, in regard to the FDA, it felt good to go into a place, meet folks like us, and completely forget about the B.S and enjoy. Vapors has all of their liquid on a table filled in clearomisers. There is a bowl of friend tips next to the liquid, so you get to try the liquid before you buy. Their selection of APV's wasn't bad. they were reasonably priced considering it was a B&M. They also had a bunch of different tanks and accessories. They have a couch and some tables and a big screen tv. Best of all, the customer service was great. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable. He recommended a couple of liquid flavors, which all were pretty good. There is no hit or miss when buying liquid. You try, if you like then buy! Good stuff, all mixed to order. I would love to see more B&M's here in Jersey!!! Lots of fun!

I've also been there and can vouch for the eJuice. It's a real luxury to be able to taste before you buy. If you're near Toms River there's a store downtown called Jersey Shore Vapors.

Jersey Shore Vapors - Top Quality e-Liquid from the Jersey Shore!

They don't offer a huge selection of mods or other products (although they can probably replace anything you need in a pinch) however they do mix some of the most deliciously incredible flavors this side of heaven. I spoke with an employee there today and he told me they are in the process of setting up a tasting station, but no matter what I've tried I've always been absolutely blown away by the flavors and quality of their eJuice. Check them out if you can :)

I have heard of jersey shore vapors, though i hadn't realized there was a b&m. I thought they were online only. My next trip to the shore area I will visit them as well!

I've been to both shops. Got some great Juice from Jersey Shore when I went there. The store in Brick is around the corner from my job so I do visit their a good amount. But my favorite B&M had to be ''9 South Vapes''. They have shops in Tuckerton, Galloway, and are opening a store in Toms River soon. Great, great shop. Everything you need, the service and people are great, the ''store'' juice they have (they have all crazy names) is top notch. My favorite flavors from them have to be their Hawaii 5.0, Wet Spot, SuperNova. If your into the tobacco flavors you gotta try their Blind Bet.

Its a bit of a hike (about 45min for me from centeral jersey) but well worth it. The best B&M shop I've been to in Jersey, and im always on the prowl for them haha.

I have heard of 9 South Vapes. Tuckerton is way far for me. On your word that they are good, I may have to take a trip! Vapors was a good time. And really, for the convenience of trying their liquids before you buy is worth it. I have wasted a bunch of money trying flavors online that I wind up never using!

I take the hour trip to 9 South probably more than I should. But once i get there its justified. They dont have a station to try the juice. But, I've tried a good majority of their juice and have never been dissapointed. More so happily surprised. The store in Brick is nice for the convenience, but I've just had a few ''not so great'' experiences there. But to each his own and I do still frequent it for the convenience. But, 9 South is my favorite for sure.

I'll second this sentiment. Imho they don't seem have much regard for newbie vapers. If you're knowledgeable you can probably shop there and do alright, but if not, well let's just say "buyer beware".

Great ejuice tho! :D

I am surprised, though I was only there once. As I said earlaer, the guy I dealt with was great! Definitely need to have patience and knowledge in a vape shop, or it wont be too successful. I hope they do well.

Hey guys wanted to chime in on my experience today at the store Vapors in Brick. I live about 25 miles from that place. I took a trip today down to seaside and figured on the way we could hit that shop. Great, right on the way perfect.

Juice testing area is awesome. Nice little store, perfect for a vape shop. The employees are very nice.

The staff is not knowledgeable at all. I've only been vaping for a little over a month and my knowledge by far exceeds any that they have. I bought 2 juices. 2 mini vivi nova tanks. 2 sweet designer tips for the vivis. And a smoktech e-pipe kit for my father for Father's Day which is tommorow.

Spent $110 bucks.

I'm vaping in the shop with my eVic. Obviously I must have some knowledge to be walking around with a mod. I went in with intentions on Buying a fully rebuildable tank like a cobra or an AG. A guy was helping me at that point, I told him I'm looking for a fully rebuildable, he takes me to the vivis and ce5s. I go into more detail and throw out the cobra name as an example and Zen as an example. This guy didn't know what I was talking about. The girl working there did and she jumped in and tells me they are getting them soon. Ok great.

So I go onto looking at the epipe kit for my pops for Father's Day. Now she's explaining how to charge a battery. .... Like I said I'm standing there with my eVic in hand vaping in her face. Duhhhh I must know how to charge a battery.

While that's going on a kid about 17 walks in and his vivi wasn't working anymore. His atomizer crapped out on him. So instead of them selling this kid a new atomizer, they told him you need a whole new tank. That's just wrong, and I should of said something but I didn't.

Long story short we get in the car to leave and my wife goes to throw on her vivi mini and tells me it doesn't fit on her ego T. I take it from her and sure enough it doesn't. It didn't have any threads!!!! The ones they sell aren't in boxes and don't come with the 2 xtra atomizers that you get normally. So I go back in and they give me another one. That's the first thing against them.

I get home and decide to charge the 18350 battery for the epipe kit so my pops can vape away when I give him the kit tomm for Father's Day. Glad I did charge it. I said lemme try this thing out before I give it to him. Well in the kit they gave me a button top 18350. I put the battery in after charge and throw on a tank I have filled. Fires without me pushing the button. I unscrew the tank and screw it back on, same thing, firing as soon as the tank makes contact. So I take out the battery and check out the fire button. Turns out this mod needs a flat top battery. The button top makes contact ALL the time! THEY TOLD ME WE SELL TONS OF THESE KITS. BS, if they sold tons they would of gotten tons of complaints.

That place is garbage, if you don't have any knowledge they are rip off artists. I will not be returning to that store. If I can't get a battery in the morning they pretty much ruined my Father's Day gift.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the Brick B&M. If you're near the Toms River area I can recommend a decent B&M. They don't have the "extensive" product line that the other guys offer, but they can usually replace just about anything you might need in a pich (including batteries). They're located in downtown Toms River on Washington Street.

P.S. They also mix some delicious eJuice!:toast:

WOW...I completely believe you. I just cant believe how different of an experience I had. Though I dealt with a young guy that was way into the forums and took care of their online sales. He really was able to carry a sort of technical conversation with me. I don't know much about the other folks there. I do recall seeing a girl who was attending the juice bar. She was really nice to the customers. THey better get up to speed or they will be in trouble with anyone experienced that walks in the door. I believe the place will do good with beginners there as they have a lot of ego style devices as well as some entry level APV's. On the 22nd my friend and I are going to stop at the place again as well as 9 South Vapers. I will be able to compare then. You aren't the first to say I was off base about the place. Maybe the thrill of actually going to a vape shop clouded my judgment!

That place is on my road trip agenda on the 22nd as well! I am so thrilled to see NJ getting some shops. The industry needs it!! Like the rest of us, I dont REALLY NEED a B&M as I have my favorite online shops I order from regularly. I just want to go and buy some stuff from them in support of the cause! Its nice to be able to touch and feel a device before buying, as well as sampling a liquid.
