This is really uncommon, BTW. I have 3 of the xlong manual batteries, and they are awesome. But one of them is way too airy for me. The cartos just would not screw down tight enough, no matter how much I tried.

I wasn't going to ask for a replacement, though, since it's a perfectly good battery. I think the threads are a little off. So tonight I decided to just put a small piece of tape over one of the holes, and voila!! It works just as good as the others now. :)

This is one of the reasons I love the manual batteries! You can open the holes up and make them a little "airy" if you wish. With an Auto, you compromize the ability of the switch to perform.

I like to "self regulate" my drags, because different cartomizers sometimes respond better to more air than less, whereas some require slower drag for optimum performance...almost certainly a user specific thing, YMMV.

No more "trying to drag just enough to light the battery but slow enough you get as much vapor as possible" balance. With the manual button and an "airy" battery, *YOU* make all the critical decisions like when to start and stop atomizing, and how much to get in a drag...it's like a stick shift car!

It's a manual, LOL! That's why it was so odd.
