At long last. At finally long last I found something that works, doesn't leak, and has a fair air flow to enjoy an all day vape. I was incredibly lucky getting this at an auction from ebay recently for $15. Yes, I was skeptical but again I go with something I've already tried vs hoping it may or may not be the tank for me. Keep in mind ever since I got the mechanical gear stuff, tank after tank, searching one after another I finally got something without flaws. Let's dive in...

The build:

Building it is by far ease and a breeze. The screws on here are a little bit bigger & fatter but 1/2 of the size of kayfuns. However, the coil needs to be built just right to size, tighten, and level to avoid the screws touching avoiding short. I made one micro coil at 0.8 which is a perfect sweet spot. Putting in the cover and the flat ring with two puncture holes was interesting. You have the choice to use cotton wick or mesh. I went ahead and did the wick style. BUT! When it comes to wick it has to be twisted and in between thick/thin for the ring cap to enter the two puncture holes. The wick going into the micro coil is about the same; neither fat or too skinny. No stuffing require and no under stuffing required either.

The juicing:

Incredibly simple. Once the tube like glass/pyrex is assembled with the top cap (mouth piece) you can easily fill the juice up. The mount where the two puncture holes are sticking out of cotton is wicked manually before inserting the tank. When closed up, the tank wicks the cotton continuously. Remember, the thinner the wick, the more juice will flow but may lead to a leak. The thicker the wick, the slower the juice will reach to the micro coil. So far, on my second try no leaks, and no dry hits. It's been nothing but pure in your face taste.

The design & look:

I'm actually tempted to getting the real tank vs the clone. It's truly a nice piece. Not too big, not too small. It's slightly long but sits flush on my magneto mech. The mouth piece that came with it is alright but I'd prefer mines. It was just too long over all as a height size with the mouth piece. But the mouth piece is good looking too.

Air flow:

Ah and this is where the journey ends. The air flow. It's about as good as it gets. I'd rate the air flow roughly at 3/5. That's the only con I have with this thing. However, I can't complain much since it doesn't gurgle, leak, or inhale juice being pulled up in my mouth. I'm pretty sure no one could bare that the most. The air hole is slightly bigger than the kayfun. I wish it had two air holes for bigger draw but meh I'm happy. Now I can use a tank for an all day use.

Pros:

* Ease of build
* Easier to mount coils due to better size of screws
* Will not leak
* Easy juice refilling without juice getting on your hands. Requires no vacuum method.
* Slick design
* For Cotton or mesh wicking
* Adjustable pin
* Sits flush

Cons:

* Needs better air flow or two holes but none the less passable
* Only for single micro coils. If you want to do dual, go for it.

I just got one of these in the mail yesterday. I'm still waiting on my 30 gauge kanthal to come in the mail, so i used the little starter kit wire.

2 Bunglings, which were the coil getting mangled trying to wick it too thickly; and then pulling too hard trying to get the wicks through the top piece.

The third try seemed good, if a little high in the resistance, 2.0 ohms. But i was getting dry hits, so i re-wicked it.

And after re-wicking it seems near perfect. Better flavour than i was getting out of the clearomizers. If i let it sit too long it seems to soak through a little too much juice, but one or two puffs and its back to normal and stays good through chain vaping.

Fits and looks nice on the vtr as well as my smok zmax mini and even the itaste vv (with beauty ring).

After a relatively hassle-free setup and one day in i am liking it thoroughly.

I agree completely. I have several, one for each flavor. I liked the HCigar clone models so well that I bought an original to contribute to the economic well-being of the designer. I have only done that one time before.
