I wanted to try dripping just to see what all the hype was about. I tried it but really didn't see the big deal, but then I remembered the video about removing the bridge. Well, attys aren't that expensive so I thought what the heck, if I ruin it at least I tried. Well, all went well and it was very easy to do. Wow, now I get it...lol Nothing but flavor!!!!!

Was just reading about the drip technique here yesterday, I've been vaping for just over a week now and have already been tweaking my carts and trying mods to achieve a consistent vape hit. The constant drip spring mod has been my best way to get decent consistent vapes but still requires tweaking here and there. This morning I really needed a few thick hits to help me get out so early on a Saturday morning. So I decided to give it a shot, I pulled off my mostly dry cart threw a single drop of red energy in the atomizer and wow, that got me the best vape hit I've had so far. You can really taste the juice 100% and the throat hit is great. Just might have to order a drip tip now, I carry a 10ml bottle of liquid around with me anyways.

I'm ordering one of those next week Liv. Do you find it gets alot hotter? Thats my only concern they look just awesome otherwise. I just find that the regular lr 510 atty actually gets a little hotter than I care for on my lips. This is using an aluminum driptip tho.

YES. The LR 306 (I get mine from VaporFlow) ohms out at 1.5. On an eGo type batt, which puts out about 3.3V you will get about 7.5 watts at the atty and a true 3.7 MOD will put you around 9 watts. I always use Delrin tips on my LR 510's and you will need a plastic tip for the 306's (the above supplier has a buy two atty's and a DT for $20). I do however like the colored and twisted DT's from Nhaler better.

The 306 will "seem" hotter than the 510 since you are vaping closer to the coil and the vaper does not have to climb the metal tube before hitting your throat. I have also found that bridgeless will increase the heat a tad. Some juices perform better at lower heat so that is why I rotate between LR 510's, Lr 306's and neutered LR 306's. I hope this helps and let us know how you like the 306's

For the 306 it is the same but easier since you do not have to deal with fishing down the metal tube.

Here is a photo of side by side 306 in tact and neutered: bridge-bridgeless 306 002.jpg

I've been vaping for 3 weeks now, drip only. it seemed to me the way to go. so far, I have not been disappointed. I met a guy at a party that used cartos and I really wasn't that impressed, but I guess there's a lot of variables there too

Manny I drip about 75 to 80% of the day but I find that cartos have a place too. I use LR 2.0 ohm vetical element cartos when dripping just isn't appropriate. For example driving, in bed, meeting etc. The LR cartos are the way to fly and they produce awesome vapor. They are not the same as dripping though.

no doubt, I wouldn't mind having some cartos handy for certain occasions. dripping can get messy :p

I also always thought (at the beginning) that dripping was more a hassle than it was worth. Well I couldn't escape the fact that dripping seemed to be the "Icing on the cake!" I always realized it always seemed to be the season veterans of vaping that did and preferred it. Finally I caved and said let me give it a whirl. My first drip made me realize what a "novice" I really was. Now dripping is my main way of vaping. I now know how wrong I was (at the beginning).

Hey - Live and Learn - right?
