This thing is awesome! And extremely well built. Just like all that I've read about it. Some may have noticed me asking a bunch of questions here lately. I was lucky enough to win it from another ECF member. He had a contest for VV-less folks.

I love VV and will not go back!!:)

I'll prolly be asking more questions too. So here's a couple.
Somewhere I saw approx's of what each color's V is. Can somebody point me to that?

I was tring to meter the BP last night. Couldn't get it to work. (Yeah. I'm an electronics numb-nut). Is there a pic or video?

I mainly use 510s cause I don't like using adapters. I'm guessing I can buy an 801 top cap and use my IKV Fusions. (HI 5Card! :)) is this correct?

I think that's all for now. Love this piece!!!!!

Oh! What's the #113 on it? Is that the production number?
Congrats Pizza and Hi to you too. You can use the 801 top on it or use one of Ikens gold adapters that I use but you need to turn the center post around on the adapter.
The way Mike has these set up is cool for changing caps though. If you remove the top screw then just slide the center post out of the topcap leaving the wire attached. Then just slide it in the 801 topcap and re-install the screw. Make sure the Isolators are in too.

Thanks to your always awesome artwork 5card!! I just switched the cap without breaking my buzz!

Thanks Mike!!! For such a masterpiece of simplicity and awesome functionality!! I love this thing!!

Two questions:

1. I didn't see any isolators in the one I took out, or the one I put in. So, since nothing fell out, I assume I'm ok and the new cap came with isolators???

2. After getting the new cap started screwing in, it go very hard to turn. Is this normal for a new one? At first I was going to stop and leave it, but after working it back and forth I got it on ok.

Please let me know if it sounds like I did this right.

Thanks!!!

5cs, if your diagram isn't on the top cap sticky, maybe add it there (or see if mike can add it to the first post).

The bottom isolator is the white teflon piece at the bottom of the top cap. It is a little plastic tube, with a wider flange at the bottom. If your new top cap doesn't have one, it will easily pry out from the old one, just pop it up with a fingernail or small screwdriver blade.

Nice job!
