It will be cleaning a high school. I hope I will like it and it steady work to. I will be working at night though 9 30 to 2 30 am. I like to work alone though but I think there will be one or 2 other people there. The other job is working with special needs patients.

Love the high school job-9:30-2:30! Those are awesome hours for a second job.

I just received word form the company I have been wanting to get into for like 6 months now, they want to interview me next week it is an office manufacturing company. My friend said i should be careful with this one becuase of the ecomomy. They have already done a referance check on me and all that. Any advice?

Let your employers know that you have an appt that was made 6 mos ago. Dont have to say what it is. Let them know about it only if it will conflict with scheduled hours.

Go to the interview and see what its all about! Be firm with your questions, salary, hours, vacation, sick time and see if there were any lay-offs in the recent years. Dont worry about asking those questions, you have 2 jobs now so if they dont hire you, its their loss.

Grats btw, you might have 3 jobs... LOL

Thanks, update though, she cancelled the meeting 2 hours before the appointment. Said we will reschedule, to quote Hee Haw, "if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all..." . We shall see what happens.

Yeah I spoke with a friend of mine last night and after I said something about wondering if HE cares I realized that I had a safe place to lay my head, clothes on my body, food in my belly, am pretty healthy, and the chance for opportunities galor so why am I whining. It is just so frustrating because I send off about 30 resumes a week ( on average ) but because employers can be very selective you rarely hear back jack. Then when you get that glimmer of hope BAM canceled appointment. It could be worse though. Thanks for y'alls concern.

i appreciate it but no thank you. I have a computer to access the internet so until I sell this bad boy I will make due. But thank you so much. It does suck and affects much more than simply your bank account. Thank you again though.

I like your outlook on things it is hard not to beat yourself up over not finding a job. I did it many times in the 14 months that I was unemployed. I hope you find something soon and when you do please please let us know.
