i got a twist..but...

i kind of want to shout(ok bad joke)
vaping not more than 4.0 and it lasts about 3-4 hours, maybe more. but the button never turns blue like my other ego batteries.

I know its a genuine joye battery, has all the etched markings and the vendor is not known to sell fake stuff.

is this normal or is my battery maybe defective?

Both of my twists react the same, purchased from Litecig so not a knock off. My passthrough does have the blue light function. I agree it is annoying as you have no idea that the battery is about to die until you get the flashing light.

both my twist buttons have white LED. the ones i tried as demos in the store were blue LEDs...dont know if it means its not real..they have have the etching on them and the CE etching

well when full charged genuine joye products buttons are white when activated, when the battery hits 20% it turns light blue and nearly dead is a darker blue.

the twist does not seem to have this function.

I have several genuine Joye batteries. The regular 650 and the pass-thru both have the white - light blue - blue firing button that change color as the battery drains. The twist is always white, and no warning (doesn't change color) before the battery dies.

My nhaler revolver acts the same, flashing white LED then dead. I also get about 6 hours on intermittent chain vaping.

this... i was using the regular eGo batteries and when i upgrades to the eGo-C regular batteries i thought that was like the best feature. then when i bought a twist and found out it didnt change colors i was really bummed. oh well id rather have VV than a battery indicator

I have 3 ego twists and the button never turns blue it just blinks when its dead thats all no pre warning or anything.

If using the twist above 3.6v, you will know its close to dead by the lack of vapor. It will just produce less and less till it starts flashing at ya.
