Santa just came early and delivered my new Bloog Maxxfusion kit and I'm in love. I love the feel of the batts, the cool factor of the PCC and the taste of the carts. When I took the cap off of one of the carts, they looked WET!!! The taste is spot on too. I ordered 16 mg chocolate because usually the taste, vapor and TH are weak with pre-filled cartos. Not so with these...in fact, I'm already putting in another order for more cartos in a lower nic. This kit far exceeded my expectations so far...and I think I'll be able to convert my family and friends when I fly into town with this beauty tomorrow! Thanks Leaford, Ashley and Bloog for giving us a huge improvement in the KR808 line!! Happy Holidays everyone!

Hey Peeps, mine is on the truck for delivery. I'm flying out tomorrow too!
Tell me about the PCC! How are the level indicators confugured? Do the blue lights come on as you open it, or do you have to push a button? Is the slot for the assembled ecig capable of holding cartos with the covers on? How is the opening mechanism? Is it like a cellphone, or just plastic sliding on plastic?
Sorry so many questions...
This is a gift for my wife but I am going to end up getting one too! :)

Hey Faux! You're gonna love it. The PCC is slim, light-weight and the top slides open. It holds one short batt with the carto attached and another batt with no carto attached in the charging nook. There is a power button to press. The indicator lights show for the battery charging and the PCC charging. The pics on the site don't do it justice-it's just cool with a capitol "C"!

Have a safe trip tomorrow and I know your wife will love her new kit! Happy Holidays!

Michelle, I'm not really decided. I'm definitly not going to do the whole different-color-for-every-flavor thing, because that got to be a major pain at V4L.

The printers hated it, because they have to dye a whole roll of sticker material for each color, even if we were only ordering a small number. They put up with it for V4L due to their overall order volume, but our orders are much smaller. And I hated it because it got too complicated to track what color each flavor was, and the colors always came out a shade or two different every time it was printed, anyway.

But, of course, there are a lot of people who like colored cartos, and even some who have come to consider their e-cig another fashion accessory to coordinate with their outfit. ;)

For now, I kept Bloog's existing all black cartos. But I am considering two things.

The first would be to carry our empties in colors to match our battery colors. That seems a bit more useful for the fashion conscious than different colors for different flavors, because who wants to choose their flavors by the color?

The second possibility is to go with different colors for different flavor categories; for example black for tobacco flavors, green for mints and menthols, red for fruits or berries, etc etc. I might start doing that in the next couple of months, when we introduce refill bottles and our own custom line of flavors. So the new flavors' prefilled cartos would have the new colors.

I SUGGEST:

- empty carts should be available in colors to match the batts.
- the juice shouldn't determine the color of the cart. someone who likes your menthol may not want a green ended e-cig, and avoid buying them.
- instead, use different color CELLOPHANE WRAP or carto condoms to differentiate them.
- offer an official Bloog carto marker, like these oil based Sharpies: Sharpie® | Paint Markers

Got my kit with the new PCC...

Everything is awesome, topnotch! More on that later...

I didn't get a manual with the PCC, and am a bit confused.

Do I have to press the power switch to get the ecig battery to charge?
The ecig battery does not blink until I press the power switch.
Also, I only ever get two bars of charge for the ecig battery versus three bars for full PCC battery...

Leaf, is there a manual that I could download for the PCC?

Thanks, everyone! Leaf, Ash, Mike: You guys are the BEST!

OK, back to vaping the best cigarette-style ecig in the world!

:)

Please...DON'T color the flavors. It cheapens the product. I hated using the vapor king with all sorts of weird colors on the end. I've always thought this was a big mistake.

As for the blanks...I don't think it's worth the effort...but if you keep black available...I wouldn't care.

+1!!!

Leaford, please, don't do colors. But you may consider offering some really nice drip tips; I've been using mine with both the aluminum and the transluscent Delrin drip tips and it works and looks great.

I use blacks and nekked. All you need to do is peel off the black sticker and wipe off the little adhesive that's left behind with some lighter fluid (if you have any left :p), or rubbing alcohol or goo be gone.

Thanks everyone for all the feedback on carto colors, and keep it coming. We still have plenty of time to make that decision, and I will cerainly take all your feedback into consideration.

Faux, sure, I can send you the PDF. And my apologies, you must have ordered an individual PCC. The manuals were an overlooked detail. My fault. We had just shipped off our order, and I woke up at 3am realizing "I forgot to include manuals for the individual PCCs!!!" I had them printed up and they will ship to us soon. THe PCC starter kits have them, if that helps.

Hmmm, does anyone know if it's possible to post a downloadable PDF here in the forum?

Since everyone else seems to be anti-color, I guess I should chime in and say I thought the V4Ls colors were pretty cool... sure, some of them were ugly, but most of them weren't, and it really makes it easier to find the carto you're looking for if, like me, you're the kind of guy who likes to have 3 or 4 flavors in active rotation all the time.

I'm curious, are all you anti-color people using colored batteries? Cause I'm a 'stealth' vaper... I use shorty, white, red-LED batteries, in order to be able to pretend they're analogs. And when you're using a white battery, colors don't really clash at all.

I guess the best compromise would be to just use a few colors, with each one for a broad category of flavor - black for tobacco flavors, tan for coffee flavors, etc. Whatever you end up doing with the prefilled cartos though, please offer the blanks in at least a few different colors... makes my life so much easier.

No, I haven't. I think someone else mentioned they have.

But as far as hot cartos goes, these are much cooler than other cartomizers. Both the improved battery airflow and cartomizer design help with that.

And speaking of the airflow, let me make a point about it. I can't promise you that MaxxFusion has the "best" airflow, that's a matter of personal preference. Some people like a light draw, some prefer a harder draw.

But what I can promise you is that MaxxFusion has the exactly perfect airflow for its design.

I'd been urging our chief engineer to create a tool for measuring the airflow from the very beginning. Literally, the first time we met I told him I wanted an airflow testing rig. It took him all this time to do it, but he finally made one when he started his own factory.

And when he was redesigning the MaxxFusion he did extensive experimentation using that airflow tool to determine the very best airflow profile, bearing in mind all the important factors. Vapor production, switch performance, battery and cartomizer temperature, comfort and ease of use, etc.

And that testing rig is part of the assembly and QC process, and every single battery gets tested for it twice. Every battery's airflow is in the exact perfect range to make the MaxxFusion the best KR8 it can be.

Which, getting back to the subject, is why MF cartos are cooler to the lips than other cartos. It has the best possible airflow for its design.

Chiming in on the colors...

I want as many colors as possible. I keep about a dozen flavors in rotation at a time. I've tried every marker available, stickers, and more. Can't find anything that stays put. Colors help me keep some semblance of order. 12 black cartos would never make it for me.

A nail art pen ( the kind they use to draw designs on fingernails ) and clear coat finger nail polish will stay on even if you wash them, unless you soak in alcohol.
Even works on SS if you want to peel and clean.

Well, we're sticking with the black stickers for prefilled flavored cartos, but will get empty cartomizers in five colors, and try to match those as closely as possible to our battery colors. For now anyway. It's still open for discussion, and we may implement a new scheme when we start our own custom refill liquids.

I prefer light-colored labels so I can write the flavor/strength on the label with a fine-point felt-tipped pen when I refill them..
(I also put a small piece of cellophane tape over the writing to keep it intact from rubbing/cleaning..)
