So in the mail yesterday I got my twists, mini vivis and 18 mg highbrow juices.

I put it all together and was first surprisedby how huge it is. I've never seen anyone around my area using anything like this. Do people carry these around? Makes me wonder if people will think it is some sort of drug paraphernalia.

Also, I'm having difficulty enjoying the 18 mg so far. It is much less flavor and more throat hit/peppery taste than I imagined. Will "steeping" help? Any special setting on my twist help? I'm not sure where to go from here.

It could be the pg base is too high for your liking. I prefer vg base for my juices. VG has a slightly sweet taste.

Hi there! I don't have a twist, but that's what it's there for... Try different settings - maybe it's just too hot... How much and what brand did you smoke before?
Also, if you are, don't suck the vapor directly into your lungs. Try pulling it into your mouth and then breathing in a little air with it...

PG juice too harsh for me, now VG most of the time.

What heads ohms are you using? Try starting at low voltage and dial it up until you have hit your sweet spot.

I've smoked half a pack to a whole pack for 25 years. Mostly Marlboro lights, but the last 2 years its been the short 72s in light.

My mini vivi says 2.4 on it.

I'm vaping @ 4.2- 4.5 volts on a 2.4 ohms. If it's a 1.8 ohms should be vaped at around 3.7- 4.0.

that is my setup too and I get " what the hell is that" or " is that for drugs" alot. It gets attention starts a conversation then either they laugh and say it's stupid or maybe they say its a great idea and hopefully switch to vaping.

Im in the same boat with you. i have a couple ego twists with a vivi nova mini. It does look pretty big but they are so worth it! I still use the mega xl cartos from smoktech but novas are truly great. You'll see that juices are so different and different juices work/taste better with different devices. 18 mg may be too high with that particular juice in that device.

I carry mine around with me but not in my pocket. I have a case for them. It is a little annoying to carry around a case for them but if they stay in a pocket they could leak or break. I just dont want the hassle of a leak.

I have also been questioned about the egos with the nova but after you inform them about what it is and does, they are usually fine with it.

When I first tried my Mini Vivi I wasn't impressed. The hit was very airy, lacked flavor, and not much vapor.
By day 2 it was hitting like a freight train with good flavor, and lots of vapor at 3.8 - 4.2 volts.
There is a break-in period for the Nova's. Now when ever I clean or change heads, before you
reassemble slowly drip a few drops of juice directly on the coil. Allow the drops to soak in before adding more or you will get gurgling.
Your juice will probably taste better with steeping. Remove the cap and let sit overnight.
