Hi all,

I'm not going to identify the vendor. But I'm a little ...... because I bought 3 510 atomizers and they are not Joye products.

That in and of itself would not be a problem. But they were advertised as true Joye atomizers (And I might not even care about that if they worked).

What gets me is that they overheat, have a horrible draw, and are basically useless.

A replacement order has been made to a reputable vendor (Cignot) and a hard lesson learned.

Makes me angry!!

Coz, it would be worthwhile to let us know who the vender is so we can avoid them. I understand respecting the business and giving them a chance to make it right, so if that is what is happening behind the scenes, so be it. But to advertise something as a Joye product and sell something else is false advertising and we should know about it.

I'm in the midst of communicating with the vendor. Which is why I did not name them.

I tried some SLB's to use with a 5 volt box mod. The vender was straight up and honest about what they were and said they worked great on his 5 volt mod. Honestly the things wouldn't last two minuets. I put my old beat up Joye ones back on and I was good to go. But now I'm going to need to buy more. The vender was cool and sent me two replacements and an LR attie. I'm saving them for use on my regular 510 batteries, they seem to work fine on them. I tried one of the replacements at 5 volts and it popped as well. I bought some of the 510 cartomizers and they even work fine on the 5 volt. So I think there is yet another bad batch of atties going around. Oh and I have used SLB atties before and didn't have the problems at all.

I'm having the same thing happening. I bought three from a somewhat reputable vendor on here, that advertises genuine Joye attys. They do measure the correct 2.2ohms, but get SUPER hot, like an LR, and they leak all over the place. 2 drops in, 2 come out. The 2 Joye attys I got from a friend who got them from Cignot, work like champs without leaking, so I think I got dooped. They're going in the "spare parts" box for now.

Common I think. That describes my experience with the three I have. Just for kicks I pulled out all my atties from cignot and tested all off them. They are all big vapor producers with little variation.

It looks like the vendor is going to give me a consideration so I'll not name them. It's possible they made a mistake.

It was a weird thing.. I threw the atomizer on my ego and all of a sudden my Ego was horrible.

Bleh...

I prefer the SLBs also...
That being said, I just got two DOA's... but I guess that happens...
Sending them back to vendor...

I rarely use 510's anyway.

I have only had problems with 510 atties. You should pose these questions in the Veterans Forum... Kent and DonDaBoomVape have given some great facts and speculations about atties.

Try an LR BE112 or 901...

901's will give you a tighter draw...
BE112's give you a monster it... and hold a loot of liquid.
(BE112's are similar to 801's and 302's)
