i have just recieved my triton tank and i loaded up some of their turkish tobacco. i'm a total idiot at this but there seems to be no vapor production at all. i'm wandering if i am doing something wrong. i have no past experience with this product or any other ecig other than disposables.

i did rinse it out but that shouldnt have effected it should it?. maybe the tank has to break in or something?

thanks in advance for any feedback on this.

When you rinsed it out, did you unscrew the coil head and rinse than separately from the tank? Did you allow the wicks to dry thoroughly?

After filling, did you allow the wicks some time to soak up the Turkish juice? Did you take a couple of primer puffs (no power) before hitting the button for your first inhale?

no i didn't rinse out the coil. i actually didn't allow the wicks to dry more than a few pats on a towel. i did allow some time after i filled for wicking. and i did take some primer puffs.

Oh! also, make sure the battery is actually firing (not locked). If the button is not lighting up, just press it 5 times quick to unlock it.

yea the battery is unlocked but i am the kind of guy that would overlook something like that so i appreciate the feedback . its got some vapor production but its very minimal, and its kinda hard to drag on...

weird

alright...
Try taking the tank off and then blow thru the tank to clear the coil and the stem. just do this over a paper towel to catch any fluids that come out.
next make sure your not covering the air intake holes at all while vaping. there are 2 of them, on the metal ring at the base of the tank.

Oh, And since you rinsed the tank before filling with fluid, just realize until the water is fully displaced by the fluid ( from continued vaping) the vapor production will be low. you are simply gonna have to make some steam before you make some vapor :)>

If the wicks weren't fully dry, then they'll have some moisture in them that won't allow for good wicking.

Also, if the tank was totally full, sometimes that causes some near flooding issues.

Try hitting the fire button without puffing... this will help cook the wicks a little. Then do it again for a few seconds, take some short puffs and see if you get some vapor going.

Also, if you didn't do a full charge (we are all eager, and the batteries usually come with a charge), make certain you do that. And use the wall adapter. The USB adapter should only be used if there is no other choice but to use it. The wall adapter also charges faster.

A weak battery will prevent decent performance.

As an example, I was just vaping on some Voodoo on my Triton and wasn't get much of anything. I had recently refilled it, and had used it for a while. It wasn't a fresh battery either way. Wasn't getting much, very weak. Through it on my other fully charged battery, and viola!

So you can tell when the cells are depleting.
