Went to post a question in the New Member forum and couldn't!

So - I'll ask my question here. Today is my 7th day vaping. Today I can't taste my juices (other than menthol). RY4 (two different vendors), Banana Cream, French Toast, Cappuccino. Nada - just "bleh" out of flavors I've been happily vaping the past few days.

Is this normal? Will this pass? I've got more flavors on order to try. I'm using the Ego-C, and will be ordering their LR atomizers on Friday.

I also have some drip tips on order and need to choose an atomizer. A kind member here sent me a couple passthroughs and a few carto's, but I haven't found a flavor yet that I want to commit to the carto's (one reason I want to get an atomizer and have already ordered drip tips).

Thanks in advance guys!

The same thing happened to me, I started dripping for awhile and adding mint or menthol helped a whole lot. It got better and I found out from the wonderful people here that it is a normal phase and it will pass. You may experience the same thing from time to time, I'm going through it again right now. I drink gallons of water, that helps too.

Yes. Usually.

Just be sure that your equipment hasn't deteriorated; keep 'em clean.

Having used the eGo-T with minimal success, I'm quite leery of that format. Current reviews of the -C haven't convinced me at all. Decent cartos will blow the eGo-T platform outta da water!

Dripping is a great way to explore flavs. I really like a 306 atty on my PVs for that purpose.

Your taste buds may need a 'break'. Just...

Yes, I'm certain that the SR atomizers aren't giving me the full flavors of my juices, but one member who I've been talking back and forth with, who was an early adopter of the Ego-C just got his LR atomizers in, and has posted some great reviews on the difference in flavor. I'm also looking some 1.8 ohm atomizers from Ikenvape (sp?). Not sure what cartomizers I should try. Have been looking at Ikenvape's and also the Resurrectors.

What would you guys recommend to optimize the Ego-C battery? I've also got a couple 1100 (I think?) passthroughs that were gifted to me.

The tanks with the Ego-C are what attracted me as a new vaper. It's pretty low maintenance. Just change out the atty, fill the tanks and go. No syringes needed to make sure you've evenly filled a cartomizer. Can't very well drip and drive.

But - how do you know when you need to change an atty? I'm still getting good vape from my juices, no burned flavors. I've gotten a couple dry wick pulls early on (nasty), but hadn't actually burned out the atomizer. I just did a few pulls on the tank without pressing the button to get the juice back in the atomizer and that seemed to correct it.

Like I said earlier..I'm in a similar boat as you as far as the lack of taste/satisfaction with the Ego T (B).
I was really in a funk on Sunday night and put in some crazy orders. I equated it to my wife like going to Costco when you are hungry. I grabbed anything and everything I could.

I have cartomizers (2.0, 2.5, 1.5, dual single), similar with atomizers, Ego LR atomizers, tips, cartridges, ect all in route from several vendors. Yep it's over the top but I am so happy I am away from analog that it's fine with me.

In parallel to my on line spending spree, I found out that Great Lakes Vapor is less than 1/2 mile from me. I stopped in and picked up a GLV from Jay. WOW it is nice. Much more vapor and taste. I could go on and on but I won't bore you. If you have extra cash...definitely think of picking one up.

Back to your EGO T (B). I tried out both the atomizer and cartomizer from the GLV on the Ego. It does make a big difference. I didnt experience the level of vapor I did from the GLV but it made flavors on the Ego-T much more pronounced and gave off a warmer vapor. I'm excited to get teh rest of my supplies I bought for it and use it while out and about. I think my GLV will be reserved for at home and in the car but ho's to say.

Summary- I think the lack of taste may be somewhat common at 1 week. I would think it should pass. If you're looking for something more and have some cash- look at the GLV. If cash is tight, look at 510 cartomizers, and atomizers for the ego-T. It may not get you 100% but it should offer some improvement. Send me a note next week and I'll let you know how I made out with all the goodies and which ones are good or not so good (IMHO).

I'm actually using the Ego-C, not the T. I think that the LR atomizers may be just what I'm looking for. See post 12 here:

However, I am looking at other mods (who ever has enough toys? LOL) and GLV was one I looked at. Particularly the mini.
