...but...

I just received my order, and the 50ml bottle of Kick-....-Carmel is screwed up.
I also received two 5ml bottles of Very Berry and Lemon to try out and they are also screwed up.

All 3 bottles are clear liquid (KAC has NEVER been clear) and there is absolutely NO THROAT HIT.
I am getting the impression someone forgot to put the nicotine in them.
The flavor is right on all 3, but that's it.
I've even put a drop on my tongue and...nothing!

What bothers me the most is that the 50ml bottle was to go with me to TX this weekend for my father-in-law's 70th birthday party, and now I don't have squat!
I have two orders from two other vendors still processing, and they haven't shipped, so wont get here in time. I even ordered those before the madvapes order...

madvapes has always been on the ball and thrown my orders out the door in no time at all. They have never gotten my order wrong, never missed a part, never sent the wrong item.

Can anyone tell I'm getting grouchy? :danger:

I'm thinking of throwing all the sample bottles of crap I have left over into one big vat and see how that tastes...

I put in a ticket, but haven't heard back yet...

Good Luck, with the recent site problems it could be awhile before you receive a reply. I generated a ticket a few days ago and haven't received a reply, normally it takes a day or two maximum. I'm not complaining because I know they've had their hands full working out the bugs. Try and enjoy the Party anyway.

Hi folks, it's not lack of nic but a new process that we are using that slows the tanning process considerably. When we mix pure Nic with PG or VG (VG is the worst), the diluted nic turns color almost instantly to a tan or pinkish shade. When further mix with flavors, the tanning process happens even quicker. Our new method, when we dilute the nic down, virtually eliminates the nic dilution tanning so when you get your bottles of e-liquid, they don't have quite the dramatic color change that our old process had. They'll be clear and the color you see if mostly whatever flavor extracts have been used.

They sent me another batch, very nice of them to do that.

How do you test for nic?

Wow, it's cool they sent you a new batch. This makes me ponder if there really is an issue?

There is a "simple" way to test nicotine level at home based upon PH. This method still involves acquiring Bromothymol Blue, Sulfuric Acid, and some lab equipment to perform the test. There are easier ways that involve very expensive lab equipment. It might be better to say this method is relatively cheap, it's not the easiest thing for most people.

It's probable the flavoring could "throw off" this test. It is probably best performed on plain juice.
