Hello @lap1026, it seems that smok are the Edsel of vaping mods.

My first proper vaping mod was a Procolour, it started acting up in under a month. Ended up having to replace it with a Vaporesso Switcher it still works well now, it's just been superseded by other mods over time and put at one side in the vape stash.

Here's a good thread for you to help keep costs down and is well worth following.

By all accounts SMOK make mods that are cheap and cheerful will poor QC and short life spans.
Their tanks on the other hand are pretty good.

I agree with you. I have liked, pretty much, every smok tank that I've had yet all but one mod died an early death. I was sucked into buying too many of their mods because they looked good. The only mod that actually kept working was an unattractive Majesty.
