I have 2 Smok mods at the moment that work.

I have had about 25 but they never seem to have a long life span, I'm sorry that's what has been my experience.
And out of a huge amount of their attys I only have 1 x-'baby still working.

Hello @lap1026, it seems that smok are the Edsel of vaping mods.

My first proper vaping mod was a Procolour, it started acting up in under a month. Ended up having to replace it with a Vaporesso Switcher it still works well now, it's just been superseded by other mods over time and put at one side in the vape stash.

Here's a good thread for you to help keep costs down and is well worth following.

I've lucked out and only had about 8 mods and 4 tanks since I started vaping. 4 mods malfunctioned and 1 tank. I try to wait quite awhile until others give feedback. That doesn't happen tho with the lipo mods that I use.

No worries @lap1026, the whole thread is interesting as lots of interesting things that have gone for very interesting prices indeed. The end of the thread is more useful and relevant though, 2 dual 18650 YiHi chipset mods have been listed. 1 under $20 and the other under $30, which are basically a steal at those prices.

By all accounts SMOK make mods that are cheap and cheerful will poor QC and short life spans.
Their tanks on the other hand are pretty good.

I agree with you. I have liked, pretty much, every smok tank that I've had yet all but one mod died an early death. I was sucked into buying too many of their mods because they looked good. The only mod that actually kept working was an unattractive Majesty.
