I have bought nicotine from wizards lab, 6 years ago. It has all ways been in the dark , in a coolish place. Is it still OK? It is in a VG base. Does any one know of any chemical degradation of such? I am going to have to start mixing up my own. Hi! all my friends that I have not seen for a while! And Hi new friends.

Hola!
If it smells and tastes okay (mixed down, Thanks @BNEAT ) ...it should be fine.

What's the oldest nic base you've ever used?

Cheers

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Step 1: Smell it. If it smell as you expect it to, go to Step 2. If not, dump it.

Step 2: Look at it in a clear vessel. If it looks as you expect it to, go to Step 3. If not, dump it.

Step 3: Mix it down into your favorite juice at your preferred strength and then vape it. If everything seems fine, you're good. Otherwise, dump it.

Good luck.

I can't say if yours will still be "OK" or not. But, my experience with the following older nic base from them has been great:
Wizard Labs - ordered 4/15/2016 - *60mg Nicotine solution - 100% VG base - (2) 500ml

I normally bought 100mg/mL nic base, but the above was such a great price on Sale, that I couldn't resist. When it was delivered I poked it away in a cool dark place, and literally forgot about it. I found it about a year + 1/2 ago, started using the 1st bottle myself, and shared a good amount with local friends I was teaching to DIY. I've been using the 2nd bottle for my own DIY and for DIY I make for a friend. I have about 150mL left now. It's still very good nic base, IMO.

This made me think of the Cheech & Chong skit "Chebornek"

Nothing's going sour around here. Cold nic is happy nic.
I left the thermometer in there 45 minutes ago after pulling all the boxes and reorganizing.
It gets under -10 IIRC. It's all as good as the day it went in 5-6 years ago.
