I have a Egot T Type B with the regular atty. When I take a drag from it I hear a whistling noise.

At first I just over looked it but it is now driving me crazy. It's not so loud that people look at me,but I notice it and it is bothering me. Have any of you had this issue and is it something I can fix or do I have to live with it? I thought of making the holes bigger and that might fix it but I dont want to mess anything up or make it worse.

Maybe try a different tank. or rotate the current one 180 degrees.

Had that happen with a few - all B types - and it eventually went away.

I think if the two holes where a little wider it wouldn't do it but a hate to mess it up. I only have two of them.Maybe when I order more I will experiment on one.

I had the same issue, and found that how much i tighten the battery makes a difference. try loosening it a bit. I also blow out my atty everytime i refill my tank, and also keep the cartridge free of condensation. hope this helped!!!

I cleaned it really well, and loosened the battery some and it still does it. I must have gotten a faulty atty or something. Oh well I guess I will whistle till this one burns out and then I'll move on to the next one.
