i have a few questions about the volt and refilling Cartos

I have a few questions about E-juice and refilling cartomizers any help would be awesome.I have been vaping for just under a week now and am really enjoying it and will be ordering another supply of cartomizers in the very near future. I have been going through about 2 to 3 carts per day. so ive been thinking maybe i should refill my own carts. Here are my questions.

1.what company has the best menthol and fuity flavors?(i know everyone has there fav and opitions on them but I dont know where to even start)

2.can you refill a factory filled cart and if so is there a way to clean out the old juice?

and finaly

3. Can i use the condom cap method of refilling on a carto that is on an automatic battery.

Just to let you guys know im using the Volt by Smokeless Image and i dont really plan on getting a new pv anytime soon. Still very much enjoying my volt.

Welcome to vaping. While I don't own a Volt or Bloog, I have had 808 cartos, just not these new ones.

1) There are a TON of threads on menthol. All you have to do is type 'menthol' in the search bar (upper right). I personally like getting a flavor you want to turn into menthol and buying/making menthol drops. They're strong so one drop at a time.

2) You can refill a factory carto, yes. If it's a like flavor you could refill w/o cleaning. Everyone has their own cleaning ritual. I always took a baster and flushed warm water through them and let them dry in a bag of rice. That's mine...

3) In order to fill via this method the carto has to be off the batt, so yes. Never fill a carto/cart while on an auto batt, but w/ this method it'd be impossible.

Hi Steve and welcome to the wonderful (most of the time ) world of vaping.

There is no need to change your PV if you like what you're currently using. Bloog MaxxFusion and all of its clones happen to be very good, BTW. As a matter of fact, I'm just now enjoying a carto I got from Nhaler on a Bloog battery and it's really nice.

Just like Turbo above, I'm very hesitant about giving advice on ejuices... taste is subjective. You'll just have to do your research. get small samples, 3 or 5 ml bottles, read reviews. Trial and error.

If you don't like the juices that come with your cartos, buy blanks and use your own eliquids. If you already own some prefilled cartos and don't care for the flavors, just vape them for a short while and top off with a compatible flavor of your choosing. That's the easiest way. I don't recommend washing them.

You should absolutely refill your cartomizers; it's insanely expensive not to do so. However, the plunger method is not recommended for cartomizers with bottom horizontal coil. It's much safer and easier to just take the soft cap off and drip the ejuice slowly, drop by drop, down the carto's walls, just like you'd fill a beer mug, trying to avoid getting any eliquid into the center air flow tube. Those cartos wick very well and I usually just add 10-12 drops as soon as I detect a slight reduction in vapor production. You'll get a hang of this in no time. Just keep them moist--top off early and top off often.

Last but not least--do not overfill. If you're using auto batteries, this part is critical. If the juice drips from your carto into the battery it will kill it. Make sure that the carto is not leaking before you put it back on your battery. Just blow through the carto, gently, from the mouth end and wipe the threads dry with some tissue.
