Just a heads up. On one of my REOs, the "tracking" said the same thing for over a week. Finally contacted Rob. It was lost in postal black hole. In the end, Rob wound up sending me a new one. I'd say if you don't receive it within a week from when it showed "Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received", I'd contact Rob and see what's up.

That is true, but cartos are easy to keep wet and keep consistent. Two important things to remember, you don't have to press the firing button as hard as you think, and you don't have to squeeze the bottle as hard as you think.
So, with a carto, how exactly do you know if you've "fed it enough"? The top is completely dry...

Yeah, I looked into that before getting one, as in general, I don't get the hype around standard atomizers. All the ones I've tried add something I find unpalatable to the flavor.
I've tried all the debridging/dewicking, alcohol baths, etc. Removing the wick seems better if you can avoid breaking it in the process, but I find dripping annoying anyhow. IMO cartos were always less work and better flavor. The bottom-feeder solves that, though, so I might give it another shot.

I obviously still don't have a grasp on atty's and carto's. Help me? Forgive me for referencing an eGo yet again but it's my only point of reference.
The eGo Mega has an atty that screws to the battery. The filler is in the mouthpiece and it inserts into the atty. Is that essentially what a carto is? A heating coil and filler in one unit?
Tim stated that the carto gives a lighter draw if I understood him correctly. That puzzles me. When the filler in my eGo is saturated, it blocks the airflow from the atty and the hit gets much tighter. I've solved the problem by keeping the filler relatively dry and only saturating the area that sits against the atty. What am I missing here?
Also, if a carto is a heating coil plus filler, why is it cheaper than an atty?

Yes, a carto is basically a heating coil buried in filler. It is made "lighter duty" than attys and is not supposed to last through many fillings.
There are all sorts of new & (arguably) improved of each, but in general:
Cartomizers are, in theory, cheaper coils wrapped in the filler material that are disposable.

A separate atomizer is, in theory, a better quality coil wrapped around a wick ("fiber", in the image below), and the cartridge with filler is a separate piece. The steel wool bridge is there basically just to hold the filler away from the coil so it doesn't burn (bridge and wick can both be removed, but kindof a pain IMO).

I would argue in general that a cartomizer isn't lighter than a like-resistance atomizer by nature. Probably could start a forum war on this one, though. People direct drip on an atomizer and claim that it's a fuller draw, but if a cartomizer is properly saturated, my opinion is that it's comparable in that regard, and more consistent in flavor as there is always the same amount of juice around the coil.
