Hi guys/gals.

I think I hit around 22 years of smoking. I loved it. I tried them dam Nicolites a couple of years back. So dam expensive and not very good. I figured it was cheaper smoking.

2 weeks ago I discovered vaping and oh boy do I love it. Not had or wanted a ciggy since I started on the vaping.

I got a cheap Ego kit and liked it. Within a week I got an MVP 2 and love it! The toughest thing now is finding nice juices.

I have so much more energy and feel great.

Looks like a great forum and I never realized the vaping world was so massive!

Thanks Gonzo. How long you been off the smokes now? It's strange but already I hate cigarettes. I quit a few times before but never hated them I just wanted one all the time. With the vaping I have not found that at all. I wish I had discovered it years ago!
I am not joking when I say I like vaping better than smoking. It's more interesting and quite a hobby!

Welcome Paul! My story is like yours and am really into it as a hobby now. I tore a rotator cuff in my left shoulder in March and had to give up shooting Olympic style archery which has been my hobby for 20 years. Instead I'm building coils and mixing my own DIY juice.

Well don't go overboard on the juices for the first few weeks and 3 months because your tastebuds are going to be changing;

also as you improve your hardware, stuff that you hadn't liked before can suddenly taste different

I am really not fussy on flavors I am willing to try pretty much anything except menthol as that bores me. Any recommendations for places in the UK to buy from? I am being a little lazy but there seems to be so many it's hard to know which places are the best to buy from.

I've used Totally Wicked for all of my liquid for a while (several months, several years ago, and about 2 months since I came back to vaping).

They're based in the UK, but also have a USA satellite. I think all their stuff is fantastic, if you're into fruity flavors (they have others, but fruit's my genre, apparently). Strawberry, grape, lemon sherbet - all simple, but very good! I don't know if they qualify as premium or anything, but they're a little on the pricier side, and well worth it, in my opinion.

Thanks for the welcome puffon. You mean you are 40 years old right or 40 years a smoker? I can't see anyone has been vaping for 40 years lol.

Thanks a lot readeuler, I will check them out tomorrow. Yes I do love fruit flavors. So far I have tried Watermelon, strawberry, cherry, passion fruit and tutti fruity but they have all been very low quality. I got 3 bottles of 10ml from a local shop for £10 and then I bought a couple of bottles from a petrol station. I am certain they are not very good. I didn't mind them but I get the feeling there is much better quality out there. I am too new to it all right now!
