I have a question

I got my 510 in the mail the other day and started "vaping" right away. To be honest, I could probably become a non-smoker before too long if only I could get a few things lined out. I have a few question if I may....

1. Why does my mouth and lips burn?

( I was told that it may be my nicotine strength or the PG. )

2. Is there anything a person can do to stop the leaking of juice?

( It has leaked in both the center and the mouth part. Yes, I am holding the e-cig in the proper position. No, I am not overfilling )

3. Is is common for the cart to come apart and the white filter stuff to fall out?

( This happend to me the first day. It was a pre-filled cart. It would not stay attached to the atomizer AT ALL )

4. Is it common to get a cartomizer that will not screw onto the battery?

( This also happend to me on the first day. The thing would just not go on....period. I ended up breaking it while trying to get it to screw all the way on with a pair of pliers...ugh )

1. If the juice leaks on your lips it will tingle or burn.

2. If you have not over filled.. then I would think low voltage..battery not charged to create heat in the atty. Just a guess. If my batt is low, not enough heat and juice is sucked in.

3. If cart is running dry it will burn and stick to atty.

4.I don't know if it is common but certainly could happen...Perhaps one from another model got shipped...Not sure.

There is a learning curve to this stuff..and suppliers are human too.. so could be a mistake in shipping on some parts.

All above are just IMHO.. keep that in mind Please.

I agree with 1-3. Another possibility with the atomizer is that it may have been threaded the wrong way when it was made? Pretty uncommon, but I have heard of it happening. Where did you pick up your gear?

Got my gear two days ago. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I could quit smoking already if not for all the problems I'm having. In reply to your answer to my #3 question...the cart was new...came with the kit...prefilled. I think it was maybe overfilled. Was a mess. As far as for the replies for questions 1&2...I'm pretty sure the battery was charged. I was getting alot of vapor...just alot of leaking juices too. A little got on my lips once, but not much. My mouth, tongue and lips burned until the next day and I even had red marks in a few areas around my lips. None today though, but I haven't vaped much. I wish I could, but I honestly had to give my mouth and lips a rest. I'm hoping it is the strength of the nicotine or the PG. I ordered a lower nicotine and strickly VG this time. Hopefully it gets here before the weekend.

I think you should contact your vendor about anything that didn't fit. Parts should fit. Re the stuffing falling out of a cart, that could happen but not usually.


I find it helps to prevent leaking with a cartridge to always set down the e-cig with the cart end lower than the other end (I set it at an angle by leaning it on something) then when I vape I make sure the cart is a bit higher than the other end (so if any juice is loose, it will not go in my mouth).

Hang in there! We have all probably had some hardware issues to work through.. And finding juice that you like can be a task on it's own. But in the end it is worth the effort! Best of Luck! If you have other questions, shout back.
