I have a very important question about my blu vapor..about the carts

I took out the Cherry cart from blu. I did not smoke it, but I could surly smell it. lol, that is some powerful stuff. My whole house smelt like cherries. lol. Anyway, just on smell alone I got a sore throat, and heart racing for about 5 minutes, then I felt fine, but my throat was still sore for a little while. I bought the 16mil full flavor cherry cart. Now with the vanilla though it smells, but not as bad, no sore throat, no heart racing, just from the smell, though my eyes burn a little bit.
And what is weird is I have my vanilla cart in my empty cigg pack, attached to the battery and sometimes I can smell it, without smoking it, like right about now. it's in the empty cigg pack, but i smell it. Then the smell comes and goes.

Anyways, has anyone else got burning eyes from the carts, sore throat, heart racing..No I have not smoked the vapes yet. I am going to talk to my doctor before I do, this is just from smelling it. This cart is..wow there goes that smell again..lol..my cart is VG based only, not with pg.

Perhaps the nic level is too high for you. Burning eyes, you probably got a little juice on your fingers and rubbed your eye without knowing it. Are the batteries auto or manual, maybe they are so sensitive they are going off a little when a breeze goes buy. And yes a sore throat is not unusual when you first start but goes away. If all this is happening and you are not vaping you should see a doctor as this could be another health problem.

What kind of cigarettes did you smoke? What strength?

That could be a did cart. And do you mean carto which screws right onto the battery? Those a cartomizers aka cartos.

Smell - if you smelled them that much - were they leaking at all? Avoid the cherry one if it made you sick. It could be stronger for some reason (or you were just vaping too much or too high a level all along and it built up)

Symptoms - Sounds like that Cherry one could be mistakenly stronger. Those are the symptoms of too much nic.

And yes, if you get any liquid residue on your fingers then rub youlr eye area you will get a sore eye. Ditto if you are getting medium to high nic vapor in your eyes a lot. Does the vapor blow back on you when you exhale? Nicotine is a skin irritant.

I talk with my doc nurse, and she said my doctor does not want me to smoke these, also my head starts pounding, to, but i am just not comfortable with it anymore. I have seen my doctor, so all i have is panic attacks and nuralogical problems, with a vitamin defecinty, that is all.

The strength is 16mil as i said before and i did not rub my eyes, nor did i smoke it, like i said before. lol..I never inhaled it, just smelled it. I never took a puff. I smelt the vanilla cart which was also 16 mil, though my heart did not race, my head is pounding again, this is not something i go through. not a pain, just a pounding, throbbing inside my head.

I'm gonna have to find some other way to stop smoking. The brand was Blu but they are a great company and have always been helpful to me, blu even said it didn't seem normal, and they sell the product, when i called them. Not with the heart racing, and sore throat, since all i did was smell it, not smoke it.

Yea, and it sucks because i really wanted something to help me quit smoking. it's like i have to be careful on meds to. well at least im not sensative to food.

The cartridge may have vg base liquid in it but is the flavoring used also vg? There are people that are allergic to vg, just as some are allergic to pg. If you have not even vaped the cart yet then I would think that maybe you are having a reaction to the vg or pg content or the cherry flavoring. It is possible that the flavoring is pg in the vg liquid base.

Blu's are pretty weak. I agree the smell is kind of strong but your heart was pounding from the smell of the carts? Nicotine is in regular cigarettes too and that doesn't make your heart pound?

If you got a pack of Blu carts that are that strong, I want them...

Seriously, you may have other issues because I have never seen this. My 12 year old daughter smelled my blu carts when they came in the mail through the un-opened box. She is certainly OK.

That's one thing I don't like about Blu, you are at their mercy when they want to change the formula and WOW is it expensive.

and by the way, yes those carts are 100% VG.
I've heard of being allergic to PG but never VG maybe I'm wrong though.

It is likely in the flavoring. That cherry is some strong stuff (didn't affect me that way, but it is strong).

This person also posted on Blu's FB and I told her the same thing yesterday. I think she was having a panic attack and called the ER at some point and they told her take her anxiety meds. I responded to this post because it was the same person I had already posted an answer to before. Yes some people are allergic to VG swollen throat and all. I think it was most likely the cherry flavoring, I have a cherry scented can of car smell gel in my car and it burns my eyes and instantly gives me a sore throat if I leave it open for more than a few seconds. I use it for the "oh, crap my car stinks and is nasty quick clean it so I can take ______ to the store."
