have experienced a pain when I inhale breath deeply. I have been smoking a pipe for some time and wanted to try the ecig, is the pain in the upper chest from high nicotine levels or the PG?
I have no idea what it's from but I too experienced a tightness and slight pain in my chest when I first started. For me, all symptoms including the chest tightness went away after about 5 days and have not returned (vaping for about a month now). BTW I'm smoking 18mg (pretty regular amount) nic liquid.
I've been vaping almost 3 months now and I had tightness in the upper part of my chest when I first started. I almost felt like I wasn't getting a good breath. I found a big deep breath of air (big breath hold for a second and slow exhale) cleared it up instantly. I don't experience it anymore. I don't know if went away because I got used to vaping or because I cut back on my Nic. I started at 24 which was too harsh for me. I cut it to 12 and it works great.
I was already having chest pains and tightness when I started vaping and all that actually went away for me. I have read that others have went thru this and it should clear up.
Like Jim said though, we are not doctors and any type of chest pain and/or tightness should be seen about with your physician.
I experienced some chest tightness at first but not actual chest pain.
Chest pain can be a sign of perhaps a more serious conidition that may not be related to ecigs. I also suggest you seek medical attention.
Chest pain is nothing to mess around with. Good luck.
The pain was from exercise and the tightness of my chest was from the vaping. I layed off the weights and kept vaping and found vaping causes tightness of the chest not the pain I was writing about.
