Okay so i started vaping about 4 days ago and i am getting this sharp pain in my uppere chest when i inhale after about 3 seconds of inhaling. I switched to 0mg liquid because i thought i might be allergic to nic but its the same. My battery is a lite 40 and i amnt sure what my tank is. The liquid is 50/50 vg pg. Maybe im allergic to pg or something?? I need help i cant inhale longer than about 5 seconds without getting the most uncomfortable pain in my chest

It's a bit early to be making assumptions, you could be allergic to something but there are more things we need to know.

You are calling your e-cig a "lite 40".... that doesn't mean much to us although it will probably be a 40w e-cig.

What power are you using it at? 10w? 20w?

What is your liquid, who made it?

Welcome to ECF regardless. You have come to the right place. :thumb:

Does this happen only when you vape or all the time?

I ask that you seek medical attention. No one here should give you any advice on chest pain. A doctor must do that.

I was thinking along these lines also. OP- take a break from the vape and then just take deep breaths and see if it's the same.

I can get chest pains easy from exerting myself or digestion issues.

looked up your lite 40 and that comes with a sub-ohm tank with .5ohm replacement coils. if no medical reason for your chest pains, than perhaps sub-ohming is just too much for you. have seen other newbies have same issue with sub-ohm tanks, try getting a non sub-ohm tank/coils.

And after he sees a doctor and no problems he should come back here, no doctor should give him advice on vaping issues. Only vapers can do that ;)

you started vaping 4 days ago.... theres your reason. Vaping and smoking are 2 entirely different things. The body reacts differently to each method. If you are/were a smoker, you shouldnt expect it to be the same, your body needs to acclimate to the "new" method...

and just to be sure, do a test, inhale without any vape or smoke and see if it still causes pain
