Been vaping for over a year...been DIY'ing for 9 months....vaped up my store bought juices about 8-months ago....decided to treat myself to some "professional juice" today with some Cuttwood Unicorn Milk.....Bleh....My juice has MUCH more flavor than this but theirs is a (smoother) tounge feel juice but the flavor is just so so compared to "any" of my DIY concoctions.

Made me feel so advanced in my efforts to date, as only some juices I have made are so so compared to this.....I have made Mothers Milk with some great flavor and was worth all the add or subtract components to get to a very fair end result....

So if you think that DIY is not for you.....give it a try and don't give up as it will be well worth the effort when your state or the the FDA gets their hands involved in our quest for a non cig vaping life of a better health alternative.

DIY on my friends.

Isn't it wonderful? I feel the same way about what I make and it feels good to know exactly what is in it. I may not be a Pro Vaping Barista but I can keep me and a few other people pretty darn satisfied. Great post btw. I am also proof that "anyone" can make their own juice. You may already know about it but here is a great site that has so many cloned recipes.

Continued happy mixing to you.

DIY on my friends.

Glad to hear of your success. I have been doing it 6 months now because $1/ml was burning a hole in my pocket quick. I have yet to find a comparable juice to anything I used to vape prior to diy, heck not even close, but it sure saves me a lot of money I guess. Wish I could find a good recipe!

But honestly I don't think it is for everyone though. If you're like me, and have very high anxiety, I would consider finding a good vendor with a good quality juice for a good price.

I spilled 1.2ml of tfa strawberry ripe flavor concentrate today, and boy that flew me into panic attack mode. Trying to find stuff on msds about the fumes and exposure to it and what not...still won't open my garage door yet. It smells like a million strawberries are right under my nose. But If that was my bottle of nic, I would have probably called 911 lol it aint for clumsy folks like myself lol.

Realizing I could cut my e-juice bill to $0.25/day was all it took for me, but now I am enjoying the art of it a bit more too. And I enjoy vaping what I make. So let's see, I save money, have a creative outlet I enjoy, have a pretty good idea what is in my vape, and enjoy what I make more than smoking. What's not to like about any of that?

I have two DIY's that I like better than anything I can buy. I am in the process of using up all my boughten juices of the past. I decided not to buy anymore premade and just my DIY. I do agree with OP, DIY juice, building my own coils and will only buy heads I can rebuild myself and always looking to the worst case scenario of the future. I am quite confident no matter what government does I will carry on unaffected for many years to come.

While I'm still reading up on DIY I'm very much interested in doing it A) to save money B) Like it was said prior you don't know what the State or FDA will do and C) living in a town of 5,000 while we do have a smoke shop and gas Stations that sell e juice your limited to brand and flavor. The first ever e juice I bought and tried was Atmos (I think that was the brand) Ice Lemonaid we picked up while traveling through Nashville and fell in love til this day I can't find anything that compares yes I can order it online but only at 17.00 for a 30ml bottle so I would like to see if I can recreate so I can't wait to start DIY.

+1 For DIY I have bin vaping a year now. I knew right away the juice cost was going to be my main concern. I took up DIY 2 months into my journey.
After about 10 months of DIY'ing I have many really good recipes. I have reduced my nic at a rate of 2mg making it real easy to reduce it with out any side effects
Juice vendors should take up this route cause a 6mg drop is hard to get used to IMO. I have not bought any venders juice in a long time, My juice is as good or better than any vender juice I tried. The only real draw back is I have went crazy buying flavouring, the up side is I have a great variety to chose from
My advice to anyone thinking of DIY is go for it! with all the online recipes and calculators you will be making fantastic juice in no time, saving money and having fun

If you do get into it. I would suggest (LA) Lorranne's Lemonade & (TFA) The Flavor Apprentice Koolada 10% PG .... Most likely it will give you a similar flavor of what you're looking for. I think those 2 flavors would give ya a nice ice cold lemonade. Try Lemonade at 4% and work your way up, koolada at .5% and work your way up' till you get the flavor you're trying to get to. I also heard FA (flavourart) has a lemon Sicily flavor that is supposed to be an amazing lemon flavor, but I have yet to try it.

Another +1 for diy. I like my recipes far better than any premixed although I will admit I've never tried any of the real expensive juices. Expensive juices are not an option for me anyway, so it's not as if I feel like I'm missing out on anything. I do occasionally pick up a bottle of premixed just to check a specific flavor, but other than that it's strictly diy for me.

That's Excellent Good for You :)
Thats my end game plan also down 2mg at a time till zero and then walk away from this nicotine addiction.
From 18 to 8 took almost one year so hopefully one more year will do it :)
With venders juice going down 6mg at a time would have bin way harder, another big plus for DIY nicotine control

OK cool I'll look into it I just need to figure out if it was mint or menthol that gave it that cool refreshing taste its kinda like a Frost like flavor

My have been Koolada. I does give my mixes that cooling sensation. If you try it. fair warning, use it very sparingly. I didn't know that the first time I used it and it just about took my breath away :D I suggest a starting point of .5% and work up from there.

I have not bought vendor juice in over a year now, and will never buy it again. My own creations taste better to me and that is all that matters. ;)

Only time I have bought it in the past year was when I found some for 80% off. No woman can resist a sale like that.
