Okay, I think I've decided what to get her. Today, she's only had one real cigarette and didn't even smoke it all at once. The e-cig is making her really despise how they taste, haha. So I want to get one ordered asap before it dies. She hates the idea of anything bigger so the eGo is a no for now. Since she likes the disposable 510 so much I don't want to change it for her.

The disposable came with 3 flavors with no names. She really likes one of them, but I have no idea how to find out what it was :(

Joye 510 with Passthru (will get 1 manual, and 1 automatic battery)
Joye 510 cartomizers. Made by Joyetech.

PG liquid
BASIC Liquid -Tobacco Sampler
Joye liquid

Pg is what I want for more throat hit correct? I got some VG incase she has a bad reaction to it, though.

Am I missing anything? I know I can the cartomizers cheaper elsewhere but I'd prefer to order it all in one order if possible. Are these good ones, though?
Should I get a pack of pre-filled carts incase she hates refilling the cartomizer, and shes been using those?
What sort of syringe do you need to fill them ? Having diabetes I have a bunch. But they're small in length.

Good choice in getting 1 auto and 1 manual, IMO. See what she likes.

As far as cartomizers, no harm in getting pre-filled if she doesn't like to fill them as you can refill them once dry anyhow. It looks like the ones you selected will be pre-filled.

Personally, I would get 2 boxes of carto's. That is 10 - so she can rotate them and refill them, etc. Plus, they do not last forever..

I looked at the liquid - not sure if you are only ordering 5ml or not - but if so - 5ml won't last long at all. Many vapers vape 2ml to 3ml per day...

As far as the syringe thing I never use one, but many do, I fill them using the condom method. I was going to say order some Boge Soft Cap but it looks they only carry Joye.

Edit: For future carto's/supplies and small orders, LiteCigUSA is good as they only have $2 shipping...

So the shipment arrived - as I thought, she much preferred the manual. She also likes dripping better.
I thought you'd have to drip a lot - but I put about 4 drops in for her and it's lasted for hours? Is this right? She only takes about 3-4 hits every now and then so shes not a "heavy vaper"

I've also had a bad experience with the cartomizers. Until it sits for a LONG while there is a mess coming out around the edges where it screws on. I bought a pack of 5 - one of them seems broken. I don't know if I did it or if it came that way, but it's completely "clogged", I can't get any air through it nor can I get the light to come on the the battery via sucking on the broken one (automatic battery). All the others work fine. I tried popping the little cap off and trying to flush it out with a straightened paper clip, and a little juice came out, but it's still not suck-able. Also, on all of them until they sat a good while the juice kept coming out in our mouths. This happened if I even only put a little bit of juice (via condom method)

I've found refilling the cartridges much easier and providing better flavor than the cartos. Did I get a bad brand? Is this just our preference?

Overall very happy!! She found a flavor she really likes, so she should be set. We figured she's already saved about $30, paying for the PCC and shipping on it all. She's only smoked 10 analogs since last Friday, when she was doing 15-20 a DAY. She still can't believe it works so well.

So glad to hear she is liking it so much and it is surprisingly easy to stay off analogs is hard to believe. I have never dealt with cartos so can't really help with that but the leaking likely killed the automatic battery, that is a problem with them if juice gets in them. I prefer dripping myself and if she is such a light vaper, a few drops will last her awhile. It is much easier then cartridges and cartomizers in my opinion.

In the land of no hills and red dirt
I have seen a couple of people buy little 510 carto kits from local brick and mortar retailers for $10-15...five 510 cartos, a couple of batteries and a charger. Fairly inexpensive, decent little vape, low maintenance, and the cartos can be refilled a time or two if you also buy a bottle of ejuice. Filled replacement cartos cost roughly $10 for a package of five.

These people I know have really enjoyed using these kits, and have either drastically tapered off of, or quit using regular cigarettes. My parents didn't like to spend money, and liked people spending money on them even less. Get mom a kit plus a bottle of juice. The relatively small cost of the setup will ensure that there's no pressure on her to succeed or fail.

Zom: I know what you mean by "some" cartomizers being rather brutal. I have some that are worthless in my view- even though they work. If you ever order any more I would get BOGE soft cap. They are better, IMO. I have some that came with a juice order as a gift - and the exact same thing you are describing. I am not sure of the brand.

LiteCig has the Boge for $8 for box of 5 and only $2 shipping. I generally use the LR ones, but those would likely ruin your battery.

At any rate congrads on helping your Mom. That's great.

I know you said she likes the slim batteries, but you
might want to check out the Chuck mod. It's what I started with.

The reason (I believe) I quit smoking as soon as I started vaping is
because I was attached to it. I got to have my own artwork on it
which made it very personal; also, I liked the fact that people got
interested when they saw me using it. That goes a long way to
keeping you doing something. Mine has my name on it, and the
picture you see in my avatar. Also, since it uses an 18650 battery,
it lasts a LONG time without needing a battery change.
