As I stated in the title I have no wire smaller then 26 gauge. So here's my situation I wanted a single coil over 1.0 ohm in which case I ended up doing 16 Wraps put it on my ohm meter and currently on my dna 30. It reads 1.2 on both prettied it up a bit and it glows from the middle out perfectly so. Is it safe to use? I really can't see why not but I want to be sure. (And if it matters I used a small bit)

to simplify what reydan mentioned is the more wire you use the more coils you have. That causes the outer wraps to take longer to heat up, while the center ones are already nice and hot.

try it out, solid reading on 2 different meter's, and nicely glowing. Sounds like a ready to be wicked/dripped coil to me!

Most of my builds are either 24 or 26 gauge. When dropping the gauge, the coils also work better at lower resistances than a higher gauge, because the wire is thicker and needs to power to heat up + too large a wire will take too long to cool down. With my own builds, I usually shoot for around .3 ohm with 26 gauge dual coils, so I would try to get that single coil closer to .6 ohm.
