Hi guys, new to ecf but already Vape for awhile now like couple of months. I'm contented with Ego twist right now. The only thing worries me is my supply of juices. I'm from everything is illegal and expensive country. I don't really looking forward on upgrading because my main motive is to quit sucking altogether be it analog or digital.....LOL
Zep, get 5 posts in, head to Canada forums (I'm assuming we're in the same Up North). There's a very much loved liquid vendor who has reasonable prices. There's also a sticky up top there where you can request a list of vendors. You'd be surprised how many options we have.
A glance at my desk reveals 9 battery mods and 8 rebuildable atomizers (not counting the Ego-style batteries and atomizers I keep for backups)...hobby? Oh yes. I won't even attempt to describe my juice drawer (one drawer in my desk is dedicated to DIY liquids...).
It doesn't end.
But that's one of the reasons it works IMO.
All the "stuff" satisfies the "OCD/Do something with hands/Keep busy/Avoid Cravings/Fill time" thing we used to have with cigs. Then, since there's a learning curve and the net....you end up on ECF. Then you get internet addiction too. lol.

I think you will find the term hobby is not really going to be what you end up using...it will be more like an addiction 
to alot of people its a hobby , to me its more of a weekend thing only. chillin with freinds, at a bbq or at a hang out. not a daily thing. maybe becouse smoking cigs was never a dailt thing to be eaither. so i look at my device more as a hooka, i dont think anyone smokes hooka daily.
I'll have to say it just keeps getting better. Batteries, cartos, attys, 808 elite, passthrough, DIY juice. Only been at two months and half.
I found a sweet spot, like at the side of a river in a pool. But I can some more down the river a ways. I think it's some rapids. Gonna go check it out.

I can't tell you where it ends, but I can tell you that it can not end until you are content with your setup.
Once you reach that point, it can end if you want it to end.
You hit the nail on the head. In the beginning I was after more vapor, better taste and longer battery life, and now that I found what combination works for me, my focus has turned to aesthetics. I want my rig to look and feel awesome. I can't stand that hodgepodge appearance, so the search goes on.
My friend, on the other hand, just wants it to work. As long as it vapes, it's good. It all comes down to personal preference and finding what works for you.
