Received my Penstyle from puresmoker.com on Friday after Thanksgiving. I wanted to wait at least 5 full days to post my results.
I only smoke on 2 days of the week while playing poker on Friday & Saturday nights. I play poker about 9 hours each of these nights. I probably smoke about 30-40 Marlboro Lights each weekend and during the week days and Sunday I use 1 can each day of Skoal Long Cut Berry Blend.
So about 2 packs of Marlboro Lights each week and 5 cans of Skoal Long Cut Berry Blend Snuff. Smoked on and off for 18 years and been using the Skoal for about 4 years now after I stopped smoking every day.
My carrier runs very late in the evening around 5-6PM. I play poker on Fridays at a friend's house and I was anxious to get my pen style in and ready to take to the game. It came at 6PM and the batteries were fully charged. I popped in one of the complimentary medium cartridges and took a primer draw (like most people suggested) and had a ton of vapor but I hated the flavor in a bad way. next I used a syringe to squeeze out the juice in that cart and refilled it with the pure smoker Menthol high juice that I had ordered. I was hesitant on ordering the menthol, cause I hate menthol cigarettes. This menthol is great and I was hooked after a few puffs.
My pen style was a hit at the poker game and many folks were asking about the cost and if it was really delivering nicotine. Some made fun of me and joked around but I never had a Marlboro Light or used any Skoal all weekend. I also ordered 36mg Marlboro from Pure Smoker and used it on Sunday, I really didn't care much for that flavor either, the only reason i ordered a 36mg bottle is that I was started that I wouldn't get my fix on lesser levels of juice since I am used to a lot of nicotine by using Skoal each day. I have no idea how much nic is in the Skoal that I use. I have just always heard that Snuff is much higher than smoking. The menthol does me great and I have ordered some more juice in different flavors to try out soon.
I watched all of the vids and have read hundreds of posts while waiting on my order to arrive. i can say that I have had no problems whatsoever with my new Pen Style after 5 days of use. I am still using the same cartridge that I emptied out and I top it off, I am not sure when I should switch to a new cartridge, i am guessing whenever the fibers get clogged up and things stop working??
I have been Skoal free and Marlboro Light free since last Friday, with the following exception....
Tonight my son was going down the stairs with a glass in his hand and lost his balance and he dropped the glass and it shattered and he fell forward going down the stairs and stepped on a piece of the glass and cut 3 of his toes (he was bare-foot). I had to rush him to the hospital to get stitches. On the way to the hospital....I needed a cig and hd left my penstyle at home. I looked in my console of the vehicle and noticed that I still had a pack of Marlboro Lights with about 15 left and I lit one and smoked half of it on the way to the hospital just to calm my nerves.
Not bad for 5 days....especially on the Skoal, i always had to have my Skoal or I got angry and so far I have been free from it since last Friday...I am loving this!
I have a total of 3 batteries and I also have an extra atomizer that I have not used yet....tonight my wife told me to get it ready and she would start using it to try to stop as well. She has used mine for a few puffs here and there and so far she enjoys it. We have never smoked in our house and she always goes outside and now that the weather is cold, she enjoys using the Pen Style inside a few times each evening.
Sorr for the extra-long post, I just wanted to be thorough and also I would like to thank everyone for all of the info that I primed myself with before I ordered. I am sure other suppliers are good as well, but I used PureSmoker and will use them again soon, as everything went great on the first order.
As for my 10-12 cartridges of reg med and high that I have....I guess I will just squeeze them out and use my new juices when they arrive. I hated the reg flavor but the cartridges will come in handy for testing my new flavors.
I ordered some Juices from Janty a couple of days ago and went a little crazy....I always go all out with any hobby that I delve into. I have the following on order from Janty and can't wait to try some other flavors from Pure Smoker like the Coca-Cola and the Pina-Coloda but it seems they are out of stock at the moment.
I hope I enjoy all of these, no samples were available so I had to go all out!
