I impulse bought a dna 12. Has anyone tried to fit it into a vmod xl yet?

I didn't really think through my purchase. I have really wanted one for a while, and when I saw the price dropped down to 35$, I just had to click buy. Looking at my vmod xl, I don't really see how one could fit it in horizontally. If one pushes aside the bottle, it could MAYBE slip in vertically. There has been lots of talk of TRYING it on the feeder forum, but the only actual attempts I have seen have been with the kick. Has anyone here actually tried it with the dna? I was planning on putting it on my boge rev v2, but that thing leaks constantly and after using the vmod without any leaks for a month, I'm pretty much done with that plan. I just want my variable watt bottom feeding dream to come true!

Another question: how hot does the dna's heatsink get? If I'm going to wedge it up under the bottle, I don't want it getting so hot that it melts the thin plastic bottle and douses itself in warm eliquid.

I did, I didn't take any pics.... It just doesn't work. I ended up coming close... I had it working, the problem is the square shape really just doesn't fit in there... I even ever so lightly sanded the corners down... I dremeled out the dividing wall between the battery compartment and juice bottle side so that the dna would kinda fit under the battery, and it ended up kinda sitting below the battery. Maybe... Maybe... if you got the wires in exactly the rights spots and got them to be the perfect lengths... it wouldn't be a complete and total pain to put the shell on every time, but imho, there just isn't enough room no matter what you do. So I bought a kick for the vmod xl, and put the dna12 in altoids tin, see my other post in here. A good RBA with a tank hits just as well as a bottom feeder anyway. Don't mean to ruffle any feathers, but properly built the hyper SRT hits as good as a bottom feeder and doesn't require squonking.

I do have one of those tanks and modded it with success lol. It's not a bad vape but I'm a dripper type and I figured a VMOD XL with my 357 atty would be perfect if i could kick it or put in a dna or some type of vv. Deciding which would be best. Leaning towards vw for the simple fact that I haven't had a vw device lol.
