If you find something you truly like then my experience YES for a little while !
But then it tailed of for me and now i sit back and enjoy my vaping slowly and while i go through 5-7 ml a day i dont feel like im sucking on it like drinking a good favorite milk shake .
Sitting back reading the forums i tend to vape a little more heavily it depends on what im doing .

Plus when you first start vaping you might vape a bit more than you used to smoke. I found I do it too, and from what other folks say they have done it as well.

I know for me too it's not like chain smoking an analog. I'll take a few hits of vape, put it down for a while, pick it back up and take a few hits, rather, rinse, repeat. So it's not like chain smoking a cig after cig. Tends to be a a few drags instead of the x amount of drags that it would take to kill a whole analog.

At least that way for me.

Its too enjoyable I must say...green smoke is just to expensive to do this.....my volt package is on the way :) Christmas is coming early for me. I think I'm going to start filling which from what I read is cheaper. Just don't wanna go nuts buying tons n tons of stuff which I'm fighting urges not too

For gaming, extended use, buying a true passthrough, no inline battery, plus a 2A USB wall wart (power supply), runs about $25 total. A true passthrough will give you 4.8 - 5V vaping, use 2.5 or higher ohm cartos (I prefer 3 ohm). Pretty reliable, simple, that's what I used at work before switching to my VV mods. (I also use a carto tank now, since the eliquids I like don't have any tank cracking issues. My PV has a 1.5" tank with a 3 ohm mega 808 carto on it -- that gives a LOT of vaping time between refills :) )

Riva is a cool alternative, good price point, or maybe a sit-and-go Riva or eGo, the kind that have the charger built-in. At your computer you have it connected to USB, constantly topping off the charge, and when you go away you just disconnect the microUSB cable from the PV.

I vaped like crazy at first also, I started with an ego system and moved to the type B tank system and use 30Mg juice (I used to smoke 2-3 packs of MB Reds a day). I picked up an Silver Bullet at VaperCon and now drip, use cartos and tanks but my vaping has leveled off. Like smoking I tend to do it more when I'm just sitting around.

Check for a volt pass-through, see if they offer a sit-and-go type (one with the battery inside the tube). Otherwise I'm pretty sure there are some standard 510 sit-and-go (like a Riva/eGo, but the battery part is small, more cig-sized).
Final option is go with a normal, dumb, pass-through, then use a standard Volt for walking around.
Whatever you do, always have a backup, though your current gear could be the backup. I carry my VV mod all the time, but in my pack at work I have a little 808 starter kit ($8 for an auto battery, charger, two cartos), the "just in case" gear.
