Oh yeah, this is the good stuff...

Well, first, last night and today were bad 'cause I was out of everything and had to smoke some of my analog smokes. Don't really like 'em any more. vaping is better. Yeah, that quick. Less than a week.

But... ran home and my E-juice kit from Johnson Creek was there. Nice! Packaging very secure, shipping obviously quick. It all comes in a handy little rubbermaid type container.

Alright, but I'm still not sure what the syringe is all about.

So, filled a dry cart first with vanilla ice cream. First hits not so good, some got in my mouth, then tastiness, but didn't seem to last too long. Did another with I think 4 drops. Better. And then.... dare I drip on the atomizer? Of course!

Took the wool out of the mouthpiece, put a drop right on there. Nice!

Of course, there seems all sorts of controversy about this, cleaning atomizers, etc. The Johnson Creek brochure says they really only last so long to begin with....

I have two carts here I've topped off, plugged and am letting sit for a while. But the drip right on the atomizer is pretty good I must say.

DEFINITELY better than tobacco, imho.

I have been using the same atomizer for 2 weeks now and have not done anything other than dripping.

Dripping to me seems like the only way to vape. I think the fact that the atomizer stays wet prolongs the life, and you can tell when the thing needs more drops by the heat increase and change in flavor.
Every day I blow it out to clean it, then drip 5 drops on the atomizer to make sure its wet before using it. The first to draws gurgle, the 3rd is heaven.

Should i just remove the cart filling and drip? Not sure what is better or preferred? Thanks 2+ weeks, so i am still a noob!! :p

for some reason my generic pen-style (Stainless steel from Jane's shop) will start producing a burnt taste - even with a relatively new cart and fully charged batts. If I open it up and drip 2-3 drops directly on the steel wool, the burnt taste almost always goes away, and sometimes stays away even after the 2-3 drops have been vaporized. I'm not sure why this happens, but I guess I can't complain. I also kind of like dripping; it adds an extra step to the process, but it makes it kind of like smoking an analogue cig where, instead of using a lighter to get going, you have to open it up and drip.

I like a little of both at the same time :)

Gotta be careful with dripping though, because it's easy to flood the battery & atomizer if overdoing it.

I've heard of the flooding issues, but I can't find any posts that give even a ballpark estimate of how much it takes to get the battery wet. I only user 2-3 drips directly on the steel wool in my pen style and Great White (pretty much the same thing as Janty's Yentl). Can I drip more?

My Screwdriver arrived without carts (a simple error more than generously compensated for by Trog, so this is not .....ing but merely explanatory set-up), so for the first few days I was dripping and sucking on the bare atomizer. Worked just dandy. The cool thing about dripping is you never get that burning wool hit... if the vapor disappears you just know it's time to drip a bit more.

I used to top off my carts with just a couple of drops, which didn't really seem to make that much of a difference. Then I read here where someone said to put drops on til you see a little bubble on the wool. I do that now and it's much better. I just make sure I always smoke what I drip and I haven't had any problems with flooding.

I have a pen and smoked right off the atomizer a few times (actually started that when I was trying to "test" an atomizer). I love that hit! :)
