I wasn't looking for another mod. I was looking for a piece of art.

As explained by Fono:

Phidias was the name, like Cher, or Madonna of that kick .... 5th. Century sculpture credited with designing, among other things, the freise of the Parthenon in Greece, he is also the namesake of the math equation PHI which is better known as the Golden Mean Ratio or Divine Proportion of

1 to 1.618

The standard Phidias Feeder PV is my homage to Phidias and the Golden Mean...

Hence the name...and that you'll find

your Phidias' Feeder's width will be 1.618 its thickness, and its height to be 1.618 its width.

The power button and inlays follow this proportion as well---the proof of the divine proportion will be found in just the holding of it.

I love the mysteriousness and coolness of it all...

They aren't discontinued, but not always available. As Blacks_n_Jacks posted look for the "phidias celebration sale" thread, Fono checks it often.

Ditch that reference site. It is beyond out of date and contains many false statements.

And, for info, Phidias was first sold through a vendor, (Nhaler) and became erroneously "discontinued" when Fonosmoak started selling direct here and elsewhere-----almost 3 years ago.

She's very nice, but has turned out to be quite expensive. I got her as a show piece, not something I planned to use very much, but I discovered I like this bottom feeding thing. That makes her beauty a problem. She is finely crafted out of wood and I'm used to throwing my ProVari in my bag. I can be a bit rough on things. So she will be vaped at home, along with the other special mods, and the Reo arrives tomorrow.
