I just got my first tank and I am confused about how to fill it. It came loaded with a slotted cartomizer and a fancy tip. Where it screws on to the battery there is, of course, a tiny hole, so....do I screw it onto the battery before adding e-juice? I've taken the fancy tip off and can see the fill material in the cartomizer. I can't just pour 3ml of e-liquid in this way. Can I? How do I change the cartomizer? Do the end plugs come off? Is there danger of loosing an O ring or breaking the seal? The ends are tight, and I haven't tried to force them without some advice. Do I fill the tank another way and then prime the cartomizer with a few drops of juice? Do I need to blow out the center? This doesn't seem possible. Where am I blowing it to? Do I need to gently rap (hit) the side of the tank to encourage absorption? Can anyone tell me how I clean the tank to change flavors?

Any other hints are very helpful to me. I've been reading so much the last two weeks that my brain is on "tilt". It all gets fuzzy. The suppliers are helpful, also. And here I can get many trustworthy and unbiased opinions. Thanks for helping us newbies.

there are so many tank types now its hard to be exact ..but you have a tank/cartomizer setup... the cartomizer slides inside the tube and is held either by o-rings or just a tight fitting cap. it should slide out ( might need some force to remove it) youtube has tons of videos for filling " tank mods". to fill it usually you slide the carto out of the bottom of the tank just enough so you can tilt it a bit and drip juice through the hole in the topcap and along side the carto, then just slide the carto back up through the topcap and fill the carto up as normal. the caps(endplugs) should come off and are probably held by o-rings as well. to clean just take it apart and rinse it well however you like..i just rinse and dry mine.

I screw the tank on a battery and gently pull the carto out at the bottom while twisting it. Then I fill the tank with a syringe or needle cap bottle and push the carto back in. A few drops on the carto if there is juice left over in the syringe.

Then I put the mouthpiece / driptip on and suck hard (without power). There a lots of bubbles coming from the tiny hole / slit as the carto fills up. When there are no more bubbles, the carto is full and I let the tank sit for a couple of minutes.

To clean the tank, you can carefully take it apart, mostly I wash mine out, when I change the carto. Changing flavours in cartos is difficult, so I just keep to one range of flavours until it's lifespan is over.
