Hi, I just got my girl a sigelei 150w with a aspire triton tank for Christmas. She uses 100% pure vg. The triton came with 2 coils, a 10-13watt and a 40-45watt. She is currently using the 40-45 at 45 and 572 degrees and having trouble getting the big cloud she is looking for. Does she need to change the settings or get a different coil? If you respond? And I hope you do please keep it simple as I know VERY little about all of this. Thanks a ton!!!

You're not going to get much cloud with a Triton. It would be enough for most people, but not for actual cloud blowers. The tank has 5 coils available: .3 ohms Kanthal, rated 45-55 watts; .4 ohms Kanthal, rated 25-30 watts; 1.8 ohm Kanthal, rated 10-13 watts; and .5 ohm Clapton coil in Kanthal, rated 40-45 watts. All of these coils should be run in regular wattage mode, they are not for Temp Control. The other one is a .15 ohm Nickel wire coil. It is the only coil that tank has available that can be run in TC mode. From your description, the two coils you have are the 1.8 ohm Kanthal, and the .5 ohm Clapton. Both of those need regular wattage mode, not Temp Control. Switch the Clapton coil to wattage mode and run it up to 45 watts, that's about the best that tank will do for cloud. You could try the Ni200 .15 coil in TC mode, but I don't think it will do a lot better. If switching to wattage mode doesn't fix it for her, you need a cloudier tank.

Big clouds with a Triton? It is not a big cloud tank. A TFV4 or maybe Arctic..
also higher VG level in the ejuice will give bigger clouds.

Ok so I bought her a TFV4 and put in the quadruple coil at the advice of the guy at the shop as he said it would produce bigger clouds......... No luck. I switched to joule mode from power mode and adjusted it both up and down, no luck. The temp is at 572 is that too high? It just seems to be harsh with not a lot of vapor....

I don't know .... about this stuff. I'm just trying to get her Christmas present to work. The box is a Sigelei 150w should it be in power mode instead of joule mode? At what power?
It should be in power mode. Kanthal coils cannot be run in "temperature control/joules" mode.

All cotton coils have to be "primed" well with juice. If they are not primed well the cotton will burn. Unfortunately, once the cotton is burned the burned taste doesn't go away.

Turn the tank upside down and remove the base (the piece that holds the coil). To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head) of juice right inside the coil, another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. Put the coil in the base, screw the base back onto the tank. Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.

Turn you voltage/wattage down (try 20 watts), take a few hits, bump it up, couple more hits. Repeat until you find your "sweet spot". If your vape starts to taste burnt, dial it back down.

I highly recommend you/your girlfriend go out and watch some youtube reviews on both your mod & tank. It will help you understand how to use your new equipment.

Here are some of the coils that are available for the TFV4: TFV4 Big Family of Coils
