What is the downside to buying this model over the latest? These versions have a better design than the 2.5s, IMO. Will the Kanger Mini Protank I'm currently using with my eGo C Twist work with it?

The only difference in v2 and 2.5 is the body style all internals are the same. They only have 510 threading. Not sure what kind of threading your minis have but if its 510 your good.

Just googled and apparently it's a 510 eGo thread, which apparently is not the same. I'll probably just buy a rebuildable atomizer to go with whatever my next battery purchase will be (still really digging mechanical mods but unsure if I have the patience to troubleshoot issues).

The picture on their website shows a green version.
The one i received goes from light grey to dark brown.
It still looks cool so I don't really care. Just note that the
pattern you purchase may have some-slight differences
with the tinting that they advertise on the J-Wraps site.
