I Just Quit My Job!!!!

As of 2 hours ago I am no longer employed!8-o
I was a personal assistant to a pretty high ranking goverment offical for the state.
I worked for him for the last 1.5 years, and put up with more stupid B.S. than I ever did in all my years of raising 6 kids!

This is the first time in my life that I have not given a notice.
I just stood up said "thats it, I quit" handed him the keys back to his car and walked out the door.

I guess you just get to an age or a point in life where you decide enough is enough, and my coming of age was today.

Sorry.....just needed to get that off my chest.

Think I will give hubby a call, he is in Vermont working and ask him if he is hiring!

Can ya believe the last straw was over blueberry pancakes???

He wanted me to get dressed go out shleping in the rain and order him some blueberry pancakes, this was 3 hours after I asked him if there was anything else he needed done for the day.
I know that sounds silly to quit a job over....but it was not the first time, heck it was not even the first time this week!!!

I called Hubs, he said "its about time"!!!
And we decided that since he is on the road so much (sometimes 9 months a year) That I will not look for another job, I will travel with him!!! Yipeeee!!

I use to do this a few years ago, so I know it will work out, he even said he will pay me to book his appts and map out his trips and if I drive him to his appts he will up it!
Said I would be huge help to him

I am actually really happy and know I made the right choice.
