I posted mostly the same in the Women's Room but I wanted to see what the general public has to say...

I ordered Gary my bf his first Ecig! His B-day is next Weds... I found a VERY affordable kit for him, and also one for myself! SO I'm getting a 510 too! For $132.50 this is with shipping btw, I got:
A 510 Manual kit w/ 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 flat tipped cartridges,& charger ($37) for me, A 510 Automatic kit w/ 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, 5 flat tipped cartridges,& charger ($37)for Gary, 2 pass throughs ($22.80 for both), 2 drip tips($5.70 for both), 10 flat tipped carts($3 for all), shipping $27!

I hope to have it when I get home next week if not I will act like all I'm making is his cheese cake and just be like oh yeah this came for you when it arrives. I can not wait to see his face. He wants to go to vaping but has been overwhelmed with all the stuff out there, so I took it upon myself to dip his toes in w/ a bit o help from me.

I was kinda waiting to share about it, but just couldn't contain myself any longer! I wanted to see how everything was from order to shipping time to product, but I guess I'll just let you know how it all goes. So did I do alright?

You did GREAT! (and welcome to ECF ) You've obviously researched this well, I believe you're gonna both love the kits. If I may, I'd like to add somes suggestions, and they are 1) keep a good supply of 510 cartomizers. They are an excellent "backup" in case of atty failures, and can be a big help when "troubleshooting" your PV's. 2) Order some sample sets of juice, its nearly impossible to know ahead of time what flavor(s) and nicotine levels you will like, and he'll probably like something different than you do.

And best wishes for your success in getting him away from the analogs.

P.S. I noticed the mention of COOKIES in your avatar. YUM! Be sure to try some cookie flavored juices

Oh I ordered juice separate, I am not even gonna let him bother w/ pre-filled, I just have not been impressed so far w/ pre-fills. So he wants to try pre-filled he can do that on his own. That way if he doesn't like the juices I can snag 'em!

The kits are full kits, so that rocks and getting the PT's was a great idea. The only thing I see missing is e-liquid.

Edit: you were posting when I was typing LOL I see you got the liquid under control.

Shipping right from China, if the product is good it will be worth it. Way I look at it, what I have been shopping for I still saved quite a bit, even though shipping was sucky.

The only thing I might add is if you smoke a lot and you're aren't going to be where you can use those passthroughs a lot of the time, you might need some more batteries or a PCC.

I don't use passthroughs a lot. So take this for what it's worth. I've read that you can get more life out of them, if you reinforce the ends with electrical tape at the connectors.

The only thing I really see wrong is the $27 for shipping.

Well Looked at another seller put in the same products, their prices were reasonable as well & it came out to $151.93 w/o shipping, still saved some cash, way I look at it. I'll still eat the $27! But I may check out this other supplier for other stuff!

If you buy enough, which you did, you can save some cabbage from china. It'll be a great start for him, and you. You should be happy for a while. Next step is just increasing your backstock of juice and parts once your settled in. Good lookin out for BF, hope he is appreciative, as it sounds he will be thrilled. Its a good journey for any couple to do together.
