The only way I can imagine is if you have a crappy mall kiosk kit, bad juices and a burnt-out atomizer that only tastes like burning wick.

When I first started, I saw a kiosk on the mall selling cartomizers... and I was running low on juice, so I bought 2 carts (they actually had 24mg cartomizers!). They were horrible. Vapor production was non existent, the flavor was barely noticeable. I bet they put 5 drops of some crap juice in the cart and sold it to me for $2. never again... so, I guess you are right

Yeah for gas station eCigs...:} the $20 starter kit is what grabbed me--so glad, I'm down to 'bout 1/2 dozen analogs a day...found some juice at the local flea market--I'm on my way to full time Vapping
