Tomorrow will be 1 month cigarette free after 22 years. After trying a couple cigalikes and eGos, my local shop set me up with an istick and nautilus mini. It was all downhill from there. Or uphill.

I'm almost ashamed about how much stuff I've acquired in the past month. Mods, tanks, RDA's, dozens of juices, three different kinds of cotton, Ohm meter, wire....I'm an adult too, and I'm purchasing stuff like a kid with his first job! I'm lucky enough to have more than one shop in my town and sometimes I rotate between the too so they don't think I have some kind of a problem. Total addict behavior!

To be honest, besides smoking, I was in pretty good shape. I eat clean. Go to the gym. Don't drink alcohol. Smoking was the one (albeit a terrible one) vice I still had left. Maybe I'm just overly excited about not smoking anymore. Maybe it's the hobbyist in me finding a new outlet. Maybe it's because it's winter and I live at the beach in a Mid-Atlantic state.

Please. Someone tell me I'm not alone here. I don't want to have to find a 12 step group for vaping. But hey....at least I'm not smoking!

Sounds like the dreaded shinyitis. From what i read its fairly normal and most people settle down a little once they have tried a few things and find what they like to vape most of the time.
I upgraded to an itaste vvw4 and a naughty mini not long ago and im already itching to preorder a 50w istick and a lemo (rta) + a cheap plume veil dripper, Then will come all the different wires and cotton to test, not to mention all the different juices to try.

TBH the forums don't help the shinyitis as there are always nice new stuff to read about and want. :)

Hmm, sounds like a good beginning on "the collection" has begun. Sounds purrfectly normal and acceptable to me:D But then, I do have a bakers dozen of mods, rba's and such. All my cotton is used for cleaning things now, but do have a selection of Ramie top and Hemp fiber to choose from, and a good selection of Kanthal gauges for coil use.

Vape long and acquireProsper.!!!!

Totally normal. Plus you start finding the things you like and your purchases double (backups). Then you start rebuilding and buy a lifetime supply of at least 4 gauges of wire and 3 or 4 different wick materials, then more batteries and atomizers. Then you start getting paranoid about the vapocalypse and start hoarding along with jumping into DIY and ordering 3 years worth of vape supplies at once.

lmao....you took the words right out of my mouth...Congratulations....!

I've only been off the coffin nails for a couple months, after several decades of smoking, and I tried everything known to mankind to quit...Vaping solved the problem in one drag off a cheap Spinner II.

Oh dear yes then there is the DIY juice side of things, Im trying hard not to think about it too much yet.

hmm, which reminds me, need to step into the lab and see what's on the slab, or something like that. Frak down to 3 flavors and under 400 ml of juice mixed total, starting to have vape attacks. Fortunatley have over a gallon of vg, 1000 ml of nic base, 750 ml of pg base, and plenty of flavor extracts to choose from. hmm, thinking of some Captain Black's Cinful Delight, and English Blackberry juice would be nice.:D
