Sooo I've only been vaping a few weeks. I just got the smok 22 a couple days ago. And I've already burnt up one coil. I just put in the second one that came with it. I made sure it was primed really well. But now I am afraid to use it because i don't want to burn it up. Because I don't have money for anymore coils right now. I think I am chain vaping....Obviously....any advice on how to slow down....I did read in another thread somewhere on the interweb about poking holes in the coil. I tried doing that before I put this coil in. But it was pretty much impossible.

The smok 22 is a non adjustable direct output device that uses a .3Ω proprietary head.

What pg/vg ratio & nic mg/ml are your using?
What type of inhale are you attempting?
MTL - slower smooth longer restricted to airy inhale.
DTL, hard fast direct to lungs unrestricted wide open inhale.

Vaping 101, always have backups, including power device, delivery devices and spare new heads.

80/20 is the Pg/Vg ratio, it should be marked which is which though.

I would guess they mean 20%Pg & 80%VG.
Pg - carries flavors better, (higher Pg more flavor tasted with less % of flavorings used) and slightly adds to / allows throat hit to come through.
Vg - produces more vapor/clouds, is smoother less harsh than Pg, mutes flavorings & adds slight sweetness.

When you buy more liquid, a 40pg/60vg or 30pg/70vg will wick faster than the 80vg you're using now, may help with burnt tastes when chain vaping.

The only ways to slow down are; self control, find something else to do, set your device farther away, increase nic mg/ml.

How many cigarettes were you smoking per day prior to starting to vape?

Smok vape pen worked really bad for us. My girlfriend bought it and it was nothing but trouble but I hear you about being short on cash.

When you can invest I'd suggest researching a what your next setup should be or ask away. I wasted a lot of money before I got into something ideal but I guess part of it is trial error and finding what works best for you.

When you chain vape it's guaranteed to burn coils quickly. It's similar to car tyres. It depends on how you use them. If your drifting corners and taking your car to the track on weekends, then your tyres might barely last 2 days. If your a standard road user then you will get months even a full year out of your tyres. Same applies to coils.

I chain vape quite a lot myself. 2-3 days a coil is pretty standard.
